    Pros +

    • A beautiful location, easy to find, wonderfully updated with character. The dining area was outside, the menu wonderful, service exceptional, and an special cocktail was offered each evening.
    • Thé property is lovely, fresh and clean. Beautifully furnished with fresh clean white linen in very comfortable beds. The grounds of the hotel were beautiful. We will definitely return and say to anyone who us thinking of booking this hotel , don’t hesitate as you will not be dissappointed.
    • Staff were really friendly and welcoming. The room itself was perfect. There was plenty of room to move around in and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom itself as a wet room was very well planned. There was even a lip around the shower to stop the water from entering all of the bathroom which was really clever. We were able to log into our own Disney plus on the tv and in the morning enjoyed a lovely breakfast that was a cooked breakfast as well as traditional French. As a disabled person it is really hard to find a suitable hotel room however we have now found one that we can use again when travelling to my parents further south.

    Cons -

    • The coffee machine in the room wasn’t working however there was a coffee machine in the bar area.
    • The location is out of town in a run down area, which is a shame.
    • Our sat-nave took us to the wrong place as number 3 not shown. Number 2 took us to a place some 50 yards away. No lift.I had requested adjacent rooms as our grand-daughter is 13 but they were some 20 yards apart. Reception tried to rearrange but all rooms were full.Poor lighting in the bathroom.

Luxurious room in beautiful gardens. Nice breakfast.

The location is out of town in a run down area, which is a shame.

Le Manoir was safe, spacious and well maintained. Plenty of free parking close to the entrance. Helpful staff. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was satisfactory and free for children. Pleasant gardens with gated access.Terre et Mer restaurant was about 35 minutes walk away and was good. A glass of wine was added at 2 euro to the 25 euro menu on stating we stayed at Le Manoir.

Overall staff most helpful, helped with recommendations for evening meal in town and made a reservation for us. Breakfast was good, the room for breakfast and service perfect. The venue is about 5 minutes drive from the centre and located in beautiful, very well groomed, grounds. Quiet. Very good parking in hotel forecourt.

Had a little difficulty entering on arrival. The address given is at the back of the Estate. Main gates are in "Rue des Quinconces" Gate code required, please highlight requirement to obtain in communications prior to arrival.

The establishment cancelled the booking. So we didn’t stay there. I received a message from them via yourselves that they were not open. I have not yet received any refund. I hope this will now happen.

You seem to be unaware of the situation and have assumed that we stayed at the property. Attempts to contact you have all failed. I hope this will succeed. I did not read their message until arrival

Beautiful refurbishment of a historic building with magnificent grounds and amazing artwork Staff were superb!

    7DavidPosted on: 5-16-2024

    Beautiful setting and lovely hotel.

The breakfast was minimalist and cost 15 euros each. I strongly suggest you visit some mid range French hotels and see the inclusive difference. The whole place didn’t give a warm vibe and was very robotic with codes for doors gates etc.

Very art deco. Minimalist and clean

Breakfast choice was a bit sparse

    7JennyPosted on: 1-9-2024

It was set in a lovely garden and the building was well restored. The bed was large and comfortable and the breakfast good, if sparse.

We couldn’t find it for a while as our sat nav took us to the wrong place. Typed in the address rather than the post code and it took us there, although the entrance is hard to spot. It wasn’t immediately obvious where the actual Manoir was once we found the drive.

    8PatriciaPosted on: 10-11-2023

Lovely renovation but hard to find. No blind on window that had an outside light which faced our bed. Had no milk with tea facilities and no one around to ask no restaurant for evening meal

    Lovely property!

The Booking.com listing of the property was not even close to accurate! We fount a Tourism Office who contacted the property and gave us an accurate address. It was very frustrating after a long day.

No curtains so we were awoken very early. Not enough electrical sockets

Would have been nice to have a bath

    8AmandaPosted on: 8-10-2023

The setting is lovely with a great terrace. The room was spacious and well appointed.

There was no one at check in so all the entry was done by codes.

    7NicholasPosted on: 8-1-2023

Good breakfast. Convenient stop on the journey to the Dordogne. Very clean. Nice grounds.

It felt like the property was aimed mainly at weddings. No actual reception.

    8AlicePosted on: 7-26-2023

The property was beautifully appointed but slightly off putting the night we arrived as no staff were in evidence and it was all done by key codes. The quality of the rooms was extremely high and the garden was lovely. It seems to be primarily a conference hotel that takes guests as a sideline.

No staff in evidence when we arrived around 7 pm and none until breakfast was slightly unnerving.

Property looks amazing set in lovely grounds . Rooms immaculate and clean. Looks like this hotel has been very recently refurbished

Soulless. You arrive use a key pad to get in and get your key. No reception area no staff on site . No information whatsoever anywhere in the room or downstairs on Wi-Fi breakfast times , how to use blinds, nearest place for food drink to walk etc . Breakfast awful value . Menu said cheese and charcuterie by order . We were given cheese spread in foil and one slice of ham each . A walk to town about 35 mins but no room information to tell you how to get there

A beautiful property. Clean with friendly staff

Absence of restaurant for a hotel in an isolated setting

    10LesleyPosted on: 5-24-2023
