Crystal Bay On The Broadwater

The views and the location of the hotel was in a quieter part of gold coast. Staff were lovely on the phone when I called to let them know that we'd be checking in later than their check in time.

There were some stains on walls and carpets which were questionable.

Good facilities

Apartment was tired, stained carpet and furniture. The second bedroom was clearly an add on with a half wall and plastic sliding door, nothing like advertised.No coffee machine.

Nice and quiet with a good location. Close to shopping so I could prepare my own meals. Free parking was a real bonus.

Apartment in general was very clean.Good & centrally located.Parking is pretty good and easily accessible.Good security

1) I was told by the staff that this is a serviced apartment and not a hotel apartment and hence only proved a start up essentials for the check-in day and we have to get our own coffee/tea & milk for the rest of our stay. Does not even have a pod machine.2) Unit only have an A/C in the main living area however, the bedroom was too warm to in summer... so didn't sleep well.3) No view at all as I was on the 1st floor, which was very dissappointing as I thought Iwas booking on Surfers paradise facing the sea but all I got was tree tops!? What the heck!

Fantastic view, in a lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of the main Gold Coast tourist sites.

The rooms are clearly a 'timeshare' type set up, with private owners. We had two rooms (travelling as a family group) and one was much more modern and well equipped than the other. Both were perfectly adequate though.

Loved the view. Very clean and modern.

The water from the shower leaks. Needs to be fixed.

Right on waterfront, good view, quiet, clean apartment, close to main roads and local transport

No guest book with local information, eateries, shopping, etc, no info on apartment appliances, like TV, microwave, washing machine, missing remote on bedroom TV, couldn't watch "free to air Tv or news " on living room TV, swimming pool was out of action and we were not told, garage security door was not working, not told

Location was good and the view over the Broadwater was lovely. Very peaceful.

It would have been good to have an extra blanket in the room. It was winter and the room had tiled floor. There was no heating and the only heater that we saw in a cupboard was so dusty we didn't want to touch it.

Location was perfect, roomy and great views

The view was incredible. Room very bright and clean. Pools and spa were fabulous. Great location.

Lovely quiet location, but walking distance to cafes and shops. Good sized apartment with everything we needed. Great to have free parking in site too!

We loved where it was located, it wasn’t in amongst all the chaos it was a beautiful spot to sit on the balcony and just relax

We did struggle with cool air in the bed rooms, we had no fans and the aircon didn’t blow into the rooms but we left the sliding doors open for a cool breeze but some nights we didn’t get the breeze.

The view was quite pretty, the apartment was very roomy and accommodated all our needs.

How small the shampoo and conditioner was, could have been a little bigger but still glad that you supplied it.

It’s central to theme parks. The view, pool, bbq area. Receptionist are friendly.

A few things needed to be updated…. Fridge, clothes airer, oven trays would have been nice…. There are a few things on the list of things supplied that weren’t there.

The space was fantastic for our family. The beds were so comfortable. The view was amazing. We also loved the pool, spa and gym.

There was no lock on the main bedroom and the door didn’t even close properly. This meant no private time for mum and dad. Apart from that everything was wonderful.

Distance to water

Advertised as a ‘Deluxe’ 2 bedroom apartment with water views. There was barely a glimpse of water view through the trees & I certainly don’t think the unit was deluxe. Our unit ended up being on the 2nd floor which was lower than the surrounding trees & garden so there was no water view which was disappointing. The 2nd bedroom also had only a 3/4 wall so is not very private for an adult couple.
