Major Innes Motel

The host was lovely and check-in went well. It is an older place that has been renovated - the outside looked average, but the inside was well presented and comfortable. I really liked having an undercover car space with plenty of space to unpack/pack the car.

The toilet paper holder. Maybe it was just me, but the roll kept falling off.Comment only - I used Google maps to get there, although it seemed very easy to find. I thought it was funny when the directions told me that I had reached my destination right in the middle of the nearby roundabout. But I could see the motel, so I figured that out.

The place was somewhat dated, in other words it felt the 1970s rather than modern but was comfortable and had the bonus of a kitchen which you don't get in motels normally. Kiytchen not as clean as it should be.

Old on the outside but newly renovated on the inside. It was very clean and tidy and a good size for one person. Bathroom had plenty of space. Fridge and microwave were in good order.

The property is obviously not new but we wanted clean, secure budget-friendly accommodation and it delivered.

The room was very clean, lovely crisp clean sheets and fluffy towels and very comfortable bed. Perfect location when travelling to jump back on the Pacific Mwy quickly in the morning.

Property is very run down. Would have to wonder if it is zoned for redevelop and all maintenance is being ignored until demolition. No one was at the property when we arrived and it took 3 phone calls before anyone attended. Bathroom floor paint work is all peeling and reminded me of facilities in caravan parks.

Quietness, ease of location, staff were friendly, rooms were clean, kitchen was cute and user friendly.

Nothing to complain about

The guest kitchen is a nice touch, it allowed me to cook breakfast without waking up everyone.The TV has a casting option.The courtyard with BBQ area adds flair to the place.

Nothing. The place is a bit dated, nothing fancy but it has basic facilities and is good for a short stay.

Clean room, good value for money, more facilities than what we were expecting. pool, bbq outside eating area and kitchen all available for use.

Easy location to continue journey

Kettle was broken - just boils with no shut off. Toilet broken - doesnt stop flushing. Decor is extremely old and dated. Feels a bit run down.

Very clean and convenient. You can tell that the current owners are doing everything to lift this place quality.Although the age is showing, its a beautiful spot sorrounded by the sound of native birds in the morning. Stayed for study trip and appreciate the quiet of the evenings.Room was well equiped and super clean.

Smoke detector went off 4 times throughout the night for no reason Hence, i didn't get much sleep.Fridge & freezer didn"t work very well. Food was spoilt & had to throw it outPoor communications. Managers didn't respond to my messages of concerns about my stay.

Did not stay was nothing like the photos on booking ,com it was untidy all fibro buildings told the lady was not staying it was to dirty she said ok I'll just tell them U never showed
