Very clean it just had a renovation on bathroom Staff on arrival was very friendly Close to everthing

Comfortable bed with lovely sheets, nice reasonably thick towels.

Only a very bright white glary overhead light and no bedside lamps to soften. Would help to put a warm globe in overhead but bedside lamps a must. Didn't like after reading for a while having to get out of bed again to turn off light.

Clean towels and room serviced daily. Nice shower. Beds were comfortable, and the window had a full blind for privacy.

The office wasn't attended as advertised and we were unable to get in contact with the manager/ owner when we arrived. There was a mix up with SMS communication. We waited 2 hours to get into our room.It was rather noisy next to Gordon St, and a lot of the guests needed to smoke just around the corner from our room. Also someone knocked on my door at 2am that shocked me and really stuffed up my sleep. The property is a little awkward to get at particularly if you're coming from the west and have to navigate around multiple streets to get back onto Gordon St.I felt it was over priced for what it was, but was suitable for myself and teenager.

The owner greeted us and made us feel so welcome. Happy owner happy staff. Great location. So comfortable.

The fact we couldn't stay longer but hope to return soon.

I liked that the beds were in separate rooms and that there was a portable fan.

The car park was a little tight if you had a large vehicle.

The only issue was that an hour into our stay the electricity went . I asked the manager and she wasn’t sure what the problem was but it got resolved within 2 hrs otherwise we were actually having to move to another hotel/motel.

Great to fit all the family in the room and having the mini fridge and bowls, jug, and toaster is helpful for breakfasts.

Would not stay again

No provision of tissues or hair dryer. Tiny bathroom. Cockroach - no fly spray! Very basic and very small. No aircon in extra bedroom. Overall I felt it was overpriced, but probably considering it was school holiday period, it was probably in line with other nearby motels .....

Beds were comfortable. Shower was great. Neat and tidy motel.

Pleasant

Only thing i can fault is no air con in kids room and the air con rattled all night disturbing sleep. Other than that was great

Clean. Easy key collection. Nice rooms. Good facilities. Would stay again.

Slightly more pricey than our other stays across Aus without differing too much on quality.

We were driving from Gold Coast to Sydney and booked to stay here overnight. We arrived very late but the check in process was well communicated and easy. Room was nice, it was clean and bed was very comfy. Bathroom was modern and we didn't hear any noise. We left early the next morning.

It was only about 10-15 minutes off the motorway.

It was very comfortable and clean. The staff were great and very helpful. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Location - near to fuel station, car wash, butchers, IGA supermarket, Thai restaurant, and Corner cafe. The room was simple yet very comfortable for my partner and 3 year old son. Parking was right outside our door. Christmas lights was on from 6pm till 8:30pm, it was very beautiful, my son loved it. Cookies and tea, nice treat. Air con, ceiling fan, microwave, small fridge, cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, milk, extra blankets and pillows, iron and ironing board. It had every we needed and more.

The room could have been cleaned a lot better especially under the beds. My 3 year old son found a dirty sock, and old snacks. Otherwise everything else in the room was neat and tidy.

The room smelt like smoke/and not pleasant for a young family made for an uncomfortable stayThe lady at reception wasn’t very friendly.We were meant to stay on our way back but we had a car accident and didn’t make it back tried to contact the motel on several occasions but couldn’t get through and didn’t get call back to cancel and try to get refund or work something out in this stressful time but with no luckI reached out to booking.com but with no luck

What is now becoming our overnight stop when we head up to the Gold Coast, this is perfect.A quiet location, staff friendly as always, the rooms are spotlessly clean as always.Beds are comfy and shower very good.A 15minute walk to the waterfront and food in the Port Macquarie Hotel highly recommended.

Motel was clean, staff were friendly

I booked in 2 , two bedroom units for 8 peopleEach Family of 4 people, 2 kids, 2 Adults.We were tired from trip back from Brisbane for an expectation of much needed rest but ended up discovering there was only one 2 bedroom room but other room was 1 bedroom with Queen bed which was a variation from what we paid for. We had to call few times and negotiate only to find another motel for other family, not nice as all rooms in this motel was booked out. Other accommodation provided for error make up was very poor with stained bedding. At the end we had to suffer without much choice/ have to separate.Hope this type of issue doesn’t happen to others.Thanks
