Kelly's Riverside Motel

The unit provided all the facilities we required. It is an older style motel but presents well.

It was as we expected.

Warm, comfortable, clean well equipped motel rooms. Everything we needed for a happy stay.

Rooms tidy, well presented, close to all food outlets etc, hospitality was awesome.

The only issue was the bed was very firm/hard for our liking.

Old school motel unit which had all of the basic amenities. Room was clean and comfortable, and the motel was located next to a large newly built supermarket. Also, the hotel was only a short walk to the main shopping area where many cafes, restaurant and local tavern was located.

The TV streaming service was very poor. So it was nearly impossible to watch anything as the service kept freezing or dropping out.

Our room was spacious and clean. It has a very usable little kitchenette with a one plate cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. The shower was good if a little dark.

We did not realise how close it was to the railway line, this was a bit on the noisy side. It was quite from the motor traffic, but the trains where noisy. The shower is good, but dark.

Older style unit. Well maintained and exceptionally clean.Unfortunately, due to Desert Road closure, the road was busy with trucks, most of the night. Our unit was the closest to the road, so that was probably a factor. We did choose this motel for it's location.

Very clean units and very friendly staff. Good location.

A great location next to the river (as you'd expect by the name). The accommodation was a divided cottage with separate bedrooms and fully functioning kitchen, which was a nice change from the usual studio style motel accommodation. The staff changed our allocated accomodation on arrival, on their own initiative, to better meet our needs. It is very close to Forgotten World Adventures, which was our reason for being there. A big supermarket almost next door (New World), although we did get tripped up by country town shopping hours. A short walk up the main street to restaurants and cafes (we recommend Jasmine's Cafe and Thai Restaurant). Quiet, clean, and comfortable.

A TV in both bedrooms would have been good.

Free cancellation, and close to where we needed to be. Not modern but very very clean! Staff friendly.

Didn’t have an iron in the room, but the staff brought one to us on request.

We had an excellent stay, Brian was very warm and welcoming. Thanks Brian for being so very helpful with our specific needs. Everything was very clean and well organized.

The location was great . Easy to get anywhere . Also the host was very friendly .

The bed was quite uncomfortable and there was a bit of mold on the door to outside .

Very friendly people running the motel. Very quick to carry out a request. Kept checking up that we were happy and whether we needed anything.

It would be helpful to have some hooks in the bathroom and the second bedroom for hanging clothes.

Close to the main road, traffic noise was quite bad at times, even to the point of the unit shaking when large trucks passed (unit closest to the road).
