Riverside Whakatane Holiday Park

Gosh where do I start? Honestly couldn¿t fault anything at all. Brilliant service, cleanliness & comfort.

Bed mattress were worn so could feel the slats under, all of us had uncomfortable sleep. Man was on a video call with headphones on untill 11.45pm in kitchen next to us so we struggled to sleep. I nearly got up to tell him he was keeping us awake.

They need upgrade mattresses in tourist cabins before I would stay again.

Clean cabin with handy kitchen/bathroom included.

We had booked late in the afternoon & were going to be late arriving. The staff responded to my email promptly & arranged for our keys to be in the lock box. Very good instructions. Warm & very tidy cabins with clean & well kept facilities.

We only stayed overnight. Would have liked to stay a bit longer but will be back.

Booking was mucked up i ended up sleeping on s matress on the floor

The park looked clean, modern and location was excellent.

Improvements would be air dehumidifier in the units and communal kitchen, this will eliminate the crying windows and have a drier feel in the room.

Okay. Great location, but needed to bring bedding.

Booking.com didn't tell me that you need to supply your own bedding. There was an under-sheet and a pillow, but no top sheets or blankets. I don't mind having to bring a sleeping bag, but I need to know in advance.

There was quite a significant amount of black mold in the shower and in the bathroom on the silicone but I understand that cant exactly be cleaned off unless the silicone is stripped and redone. I was just worried as we want to stay again but my children get really sick quite easily, so the mold was a concern for me.

Staff was lovely, very nice cabin, perfectly clean, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back! The pool was amazing and the beds even more, super comfy and warm with the blankets which i love!

What a lovely place to spend some weekend away time, facilities were top notch and the grounds were a joy including surrounding gardens and parks. The laughter from the children at the camp was a sure sign that I would definitely return with my own grandchildren in the near future.

Nothing to fault except I wished I could stay longer.

I booked 2 lodgings(for 7 of us at the time of booking). The family room had what we needed (4 beds) The other room I booked had no blankets (2 bunk beds). We did pick up an Xtra child on the way and they were happy to accommodate We weren't aware we had to bring blankets for that room tho.

I enjoyed everything around me,You had swimming pool, bike and go-cart ridingYou had everyday appliances at your location which made things easier too.Awesome service thank you everyone, good team work with everyone doing their thing with a smile.

This is our second stay here & absolutely loved it yet again. Literally has everything you need. My daughter loved the pressure of the shower, the pool & bbq area where we got to have family come visit & eat dinner with us. Absolutely loved EVERYTHING!!!! Staff are so lovely
