Tuscany Villas Whakatane

Staff very pleasant and helpful, room was very clean, coffee, shampoo and soaps supplied, clean towels. Very happy with our stay. Off street parking available. Close to town centre.

Great value for money given its location in Whakatane. The entire town is literally on your doorstep. The bed is massive, the air conditioning is humming and the spa bath is a treat. I'm 6ft 5inch, 150kg and I could easily spread and relax in it!

The location of Tuscany Villas is exceptional as it is within a very short walk into the CBD of Whakatane and restaurants close at hand. The villa was very clean and the complex well kept. Very pleasant management.

Excellent host. Friendly, welcoming. Great rooms and facilities for this type of stay. Good option for a business stay also.

Spent time by myself here to check out Whakatane. Was quiet, really comfy and accessible to everything by walking it was great!

Lady at reception was very welcoming and lovely to talk to. She gave us useful information about the best local eating spots and must do's. Room was super clean with everything we needed for our stay. Bed was comfy and the hot tub next to the bed was definitely a bonus. Would highly recommend Tuscany Villa's to anyone looking for accommodation in whakatane.

Getting woken up early hours of the morning and being evaluated because someone had set off the smoke alarms.

Very quiet even though on the main st. Lovely large room with a hot tub. Hosts wonderful with great recommendations for local restaurants and walks.

On arrival, the staff member informed me that my booking was cancelled in the hotel booking system, however the staff member sorted this out with only a minor delay.Please use a different cleaning product - the unit smelled strongly of the artificial scent which was hard to ignore.

Our room was on the ground level. Loved the spa bath, coffee machine and two bed option. Great shower pressure. The artwork/flowers and flags outside and building design is nice, unfortunately the weather was stormy during our stay so stayed in doors. Travelling with a toddler who was sick, nice cosy room and it was a family friendly room.. not much toddler proofing needed! Wasn't too much noise so was great.

Single bed was a bit uncomfortable (loud springs - old mattress?) Would be good if the car parks outside the rooms were allocated to a set room, as it made it hard to navigate the wet weather unloading the car with a toddler in tow when not parked directly outside.

Great location, easy/friendly check in, handy to local eats and walks, smart TV, ceiling fan, comfy bed.

The room needed to aired out on arrival… just a little stale, nothing bad.

Pleasant

I used a cup for my green tea and the plate underneath it was dirty. It needed to be washed, but it clearly hadn't been checked by the staff.

Good sized room.

Milk we were given was sour. TV was hard to navigate. No low sugar options for tea/coffee. Spa bath unnecessary. Couch uncomfortable and weird.

Bad

We were kicked out in the middle of the night for returning from dinner and allowing our family to use the bathroom in our room. We werent causing trouble at all...They called the police and we were trespassed from the venue for 2 years. They even black listed us to other motel owners in the town. We went to a place we had stayed before and they were kind enough to let us stay. DISGUSTING treatment which cost us $369 for the 2 nights we paid to be there and the cost of finding more accommodation.

Very clean and tidy, met our expectations. We also had our laundry done, only a few hours and was returned, washed and folded. Very comfortable bed.

Location is great and manager very accommodating.

There is no provision for doing your own laundry.You pay management to do it for you whi h is not always ideal. Very basic kitchen and bathroom supplies.Should be more TV channels for rates paid.

Nice stay. Fire malfunction in every unit at 6am so mo sleep in.?

We had ordered a super king bed online, but upon arrival it was a king sized bed. My partner measured the bed to check the size, confirming it was indeed a king sized bed. The hotel was full so we couldn’t get another room with a super king. The spa bath was nice but loud when in use. There was plenty of hot water, but the shower room was affected by the low shower head which wasn’t great for a person to use. The TV was small. Everything provided in the kitchen was suitable for our length of stay. A quiet night overall. I’d stay again but only if the bed size matched our booking.
