The unit had very good quality appliances and lacked nothing,{not like the cheap junk you find in some other motels},the bed was also very clean and comfortable. The parking was good with plenty room for larger cars.

The Lounge suite seats were a bit on the hard side,only my opinion though.

The attention to detail such as the tasteful decor and layout of the unit as well as the lovely toiletries made all the difference.

Good quality fittings and linen. Spotlessly clean. Excellent amenities. Big TV.

Our room was beautiful. The Lounge was spacious with a large TV. The bedroom with an ensuite was lovely. The bed was comfortable and very large. We would choose this motel as our first choice of places to stay. We would definitely book again.

The clean facilities and the awesome beds. The cleaners are amazing.

Loved the spacious two bedroom for a family of four and loved being on the top level.Was close to town and very friendly staff :)We will stay here when we come back to Whakatane :)

The only thing would be the square glass table was a bit dangerous for our two toddlers but we moved it to the corner.

Only staying 2 nights!!

Warm greeting at reception and then taken through the room with Natalia who was absolutely lovely and very thorough with her explanations- it was a nice touch for sure. The room was large and exceptionally clean and had everything we needed could easily have stayed longer. Good location close to CBD.

Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff

The rooms were very clean, modern, large and private with an excellent bathroom and kitchen. We had a 2-bedroom unit and both bedrooms were very large and comfortable. Plus, each bedroom had its own door to the bathroom.

Our 2-bedroom unit was upstairs, but it was still very nice. With a very easy climb up the wide stairway. We will stay here again and next time we request a downstairs unit.

Excellent motel, could be even compared with 4 stars hotel, quality of the room, attention to the small details, high level of comfort. Motel is used for CEO's and CFO's of substantial size Whakatane business to stay, it says a lot. All was great, really good sleep, high level of comfort. We loved it.

Malcolm is just lovely and very accommodating. We always stay at this hotel when we travel to Whakatane due to the great location, cleanliness of the rooms, amenities and comfy beds.

Loved how clean everything was. The man at reception who greeted us was so lovely! We really liked how he showed us to our room and how everything worked - the glass bottles for milk are a lovely touch. Everything is so super tidy, the spa bath is great as well. Just a very well run motel, we would absolutely stay here again.

Great location. However as the unit is great and large, a larger luggage rack would be terrific, it just makes it a little easier for travelling couples.

The unit was very clean and tidy with two separate bedrooms, a kitchenette with microwave, jug and fridge/freezer and good amenities. Large screen TV with Sky TV and a heat pump outlet in the lounge area. Plenty of lounge seating and a good sized dining table. The bathroom was excellent, with two basins, large mirror, and a separate shower, spa bath and toilet room with a sliding door so it could be used while someone else used the basins. Very quiet unit and the curtains were very good block-out ones. Wifi was available and easy to use.

The heat pump system could have had had outlets in both bedrooms as well so you didn't have to have the doors open to the lounge area so that bedrooms could be quiet and slept in and cooled while someone else was in the lounge watching TV, where with only one cooling outlet the bedroom doors had to be kept open which was a bit noisy if TV was on.

Very clean, spacious and modern with great amenities.
