The Com Plex Motel

Great location, close to shops. It was nice to have an allocated parking spot right outside the room. Room was spacious, comfortable bed with all amenities available. Will definitely be retuning

Perfect location, lovely staff and great freindly guard dog, room was small but clean and comfortable

Location of the property was good. Very convenient as walkable distance to the town. Clean and tidy room

Just one thing. Didn’t find a rubbish bin in the room or outside

It was a wonderful stay. I’d love to go back sometime - the staff were so friendly/accommodating, the room was thoroughly cleaned (& I have high standards in terms of hygiene/cleanliness), modern/new build and prime location.

Close to the Main Street.

Apartment was upstairs - had to carry luggage upstairs. Bed was quite firm.

Clean. Good water temp. Good wifi

Shower pressure was only moderate.

Beds were comfy, room was nice and very clean. A/c was a bonus. The bathroom has plenty of room. The biscuits and chocolate was a lovely touch!

Location was great. We changed at the last minute to a ground level unit which was nice as we could just back the car up and didn't have to lug everything upstairs. The unit was clean and warm and we just had a short one night stay but it was great for us.

Loved the location as it was central and easy to go around the town.

It would have been great if there was a small sink to clean the dishes with and our babies bottles.

The Com Plex was clean and tidy, the owners were really friendly and helpful, the location was right across from our venue for the weekend (The Comm). All in all it was perfect for our needs.

Everything was great!

Great motel, this was my third stay here and will always book to stay here only in Whakatane. Nice and new, plenty of parking and in top location. Great facilities.

This time the only improvement would have been one of the shower wash containers was empty and not refilled, and hair on shower wall. All the other stays has been immaculate.

A very good selection of room options at the Com Plex and a very helpful receptionist only too willing to make a room change. So handy having the bar/restaurant on site but without any disturbance.

Very helpful from staff and very well maintained with the room and it is a excellent location in Whakatāne

Lovely motel and like living in a little pod. Perfect for a short stay and convenient to walk into the city.

Great location. Good shower and bed

The toiletries were too hard to squeeze or empty

Central location which was accessible for all activities etc

Our room wasn't cleaned for 3 days even though we followed directions and instructions

good location short walk to pubs and restaurants

security lights in the carpark shone straight into our room black out curtains not the best

We enjoyed the history and location of venue. Easy convenient and very friendly staff.

It was great

Location was central to eateries waterfront etc. Quiet. Host directed to very good eating locations

Close to amenities and lovely wharf which has an amazing walk and views! The best location, so clean, the staff were amazing and always cleaned the room!! For the price, we were shocked of how good everything was!!! We will definitely be back and will always be staying here!! 10/10!!
