Oceania Hotel d'Anjou Angers

Its location in the heart of Angers and the beauty of the building and its rooms are the most attractive aspects of the hotel.

There were not enough electrical outlets to provide for all the electronic and electrical appliances and there were no toiletries provided, which usually come with a 4-star rating. Three steps led up to the bathroom from the bedroom, pretty but dangerous

Very quiet room, very helpful staff on reception, good breakfast

Bar staff were very rude and ignored us. We eventually got a drink by asking the receptionist to get a drink for us

The room was small but comfortable enough. The biggest problem was the lack of control over room temperature. The room was very warm at night with no way to regulate it

Central location with secure private underground car parking (extra cost) nearby. Reception staff were friendly and spoke good English thereby saving me the embarrassment of my schoolboy French. Our bedroom was of reasonable size, well appointed, comfortable and clean.

The extra charge for the underground car park was the highest of all the places we stayed in on our road trip by a significant margin however it was known about before we booked and accepted as the price for getting a good night's sleep as I'm precious about my classic car.

The breakfast was good and the room was a good size and clean.

The air con was not working and the dinner was very poor with a very limited menu,this was in contrast to our previous stay when we found the food excellent.

The interior was beautiful and the breakfast was very nice. The location is excellent, and the hotel staff were friendly.

The room was a bit small. There wasn’t enough light in the bathroom, and some of the features were outdated. I don’t understand why I had to pay a deposit of 200 EUR for two nights. There was no ironing board or iron in the room. The price was very high compared to the standard offered.

Good location in historical building, close to the center of the city. room clean and with good space.

Breakfast, considering the hotel presentation the choice is limited and the location is small.Room corridors and room's doors are painted in black, giving a bit of claustrophobe.entrance is not controlled.

Comfort room is a bit small and cramped - good for one night but overall this is an excellent hotel and great value

very good breakfast but not organised : cutlery missing on several occasions. One member of staff chatting instead of checking breakfast ( 2 days in a row), other members of staff were really good.no air conditioning in the room and as a result the room was too expensive for the service offered.

Room a bit on the small side. Parking at €25 per night a bit expensive.

Polite and friendly staff. Room was large, bed super comfortable and everything clean. Although the hotel kindly advised us in advance that the room didn't have aircon, there was a double window, so even though it was 30° outside, the room stayed cool. Beautifully decorated interior in a historical building.

Different levels were confusing and dangerous. Elevator somewhat scary - maybe being remodeled? Private parking location was confusing at first but very helpful. Interior design was very eclectic differing in each space. Take the cue from the original deco dining room and go with it!

Very nice effort to update a classic hotel in Angers. Pretty room with good facilities (Nespresso, good beds and sheets, etc). Helpful front desk staff.

Some of the equipment doesn't feel fully renewed but I think some renovation is still under way.

paid for aircon that did not work on the hottest time injune. was told twice it was fixed when it could not be. be truthful.
