    Pros +

    • The receptionist was charming and very helpful. The hotel had a restaurant next door which was perfect.
    • - Perfect location. Right in front of tram and walkable distance from most of spots.- Kind staff. - Cheaper price per night than the hotels around
    • Room was on the 3rd floor and was fairly quiet. One of the receptionist's was very helpful. The hotel is only 8 mins by foot from the centre and castle.

    Cons -

    • The wifi connection wasn't great and as I was there on business, it was a little tricky.
    • - Towel was a bit smelly. Don't know whether it comes from dryer or folded when it is not fully dried.- You can hear all the sound from the room next to your room.
    • The hotel charged me for 3 nights when I had already paid on booking.com . I informed them of this and they said it was not the case. I returned later and showed another receptionist my receipt from booking.com. She phoned her manager who said I would be reimbursed by Monday. I am still awaiting for the money to be refunded a week later. The kettle didn't work in my room and the lamp was missing a lightbulb. I had to report this twice to reception and the light bulb was replaced but kettle still didn't work. I went at 8am to Breakfast on the second day , all the tables were dirty, there was no coffee cups, no glasses for juice, limited choice as breakfast was not topped up. The area around the hotel is mainly shops which made it feel quite unsafe in the evening when the shops were closed.

Young team not super efficient. Cleaning ladies did not come every day. Need to ask and ask again to obtain anything.

    Room was nice. Sound proof.

Staff were amazing, clean rooms and perfectly situated in the middle of town. Most importantly it was right on the river Mayenne cycle track.

Great location. Lively. Easy transport links.

Bed was a little uncomfortable. Breakfast was not too good

Location is good. Near to the city centre.

Needs to be renovated. Old lift, locks of the doors are not working, very bad connection with WIFI. Breakfast. No fresh eggs, No bread. Very expensive compared to other hotels in the area.

    Great location

Breakfast: the milk had turned sour and was yoghurt-like.The pancakes, yoghurts and other things on the menu seemed cheap and did not taste very good. The rooms (we had two rooms for our family) did not smell very fresh and the air conditioning worked poorly.

Location is fine and easily reachable by foot from all the central sights. Breakfast is decent.

Rooms are a bit dated, ventilation didn’t work and it was impossible to open the windows.

The location was excellent- really close to all tourist spots. The welcome and helpfulness of the staff. Nice room, decent shower.

The air con was not good. Room had a fan, but when it is really hot this did not help the room cool down really. The breakfast was okay but could be better.

Best welcome we had on our 2 week trip. Thank you to the lovely receptionist! I think it was our fourth visit to Angers and we always stay here. We were given privilege rooms which were great, thank you. Perfect location for us to explore this wonderful city.

old rooms for the price of new ones.Very small parking places.very old bathroom, ,no reall showerI took it because there was airconditiong and the temperature outside was 32°C.

    7MarcelPosted on: 5-3-2022

My room was at the end of a corridor, and then around a corner, and there was no light above the door, so I could not see the door, nor the slit where to place to room key. It would have been better to have a little light there.

The room was OK, but the bathroom was rather small. The breakfast was fine, no remarks. And the location is also great, quite well situated in the center of town.

My issue was with the room. I reserved a specically reserved a twin room to have seperate beds but when I checked in they could only give me a double bed.

The unwillingness of the front desk staff to try and rectify my reservation issue.

Rooms were clean, nice, with comfy beds. Everything in new and modern. I would have given this hotel a 10 if it wasn't for the poor shower experience

Everything was great EXCEPT the shower. Our rooms were in the third floor and there was no enough pressure. Water hardly trickled from the shower and the temperature kept changing from very hot to very cold. Not a pleasant experience at all
