Pros +
- A very good hotel for transit, in a nice and quiet area of Angers. The room was big enough, with all needed facilities. The frontdesk personnel was very nice and helpful. They even helped us identify a restaurant in the neighborhood, to have dinner there. Breakfast was decent, with enough variety. Finding free parking spaces in front of the hotel came in very handy for us. The free filtrated drinking water available (even sparkling) near the reception desk was also useful to us.
- Clean, great service and value.
- Very good breakfast. Very helpful staff on reception.
Cons -
- Some vegetables available at breakfast wouldn't hurt. The hotel lacks an elevator, so if you have big luggages, ask for a room on the ground floor, or get ready to use your muscles to carry them to the first floor.
- Shame the restaurant wasn't open on site but restaurant recommended by staff was excellent.
- Hardly any storage facilities in the room - no wardrobe, no drawers - just a rail for hanging a few garments. We ended up having to pile our clothes in the corner of the room, leaving even less space. No lift - we were told we should have advised them of our age (we are in our 70s). We were offered help with the luggage but the receptionist had disappeared when we brought our luggage in. Regarding the lack of storage space we were told that most guests only stayed one or two nights, leaving us with the impression that this too was our fault for staying longer, The receptionist was most concerned with getting us to pay for the breakfasts, which we had not yet decided to take at the hotel. We did take breakfast and we were satisfied, but when my wife went to settle up after I been admitted to hospital, the receptionist attempted to charge for breakfasts which had not been taken. Also during the period I was in hospital, my wife decided to eat at the hotel's restaurant, only to be told that it was closed to guests because there was some sort of private group in - they also attempted to charge for the tourist tax when I hadn't been there due to my hospitalisation. At no time did any staff member ask after my health condition.

Location was good for our purposes and being opposite the Clinique d'Anjou was very convenient when I became seriously ill.

Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. It was tricky to find as it is next to a large clinic but sat nav took us straight there.
Exactly as I expected - location, value, comfort, wifi, parking, staff were all excellent.
Some noise from hallway / adjacent room late in the evening. The shower head was ultra water saving and worked okay, but gave me a few bursts of very hot water.
Very clean and comfortable hotel... staff seemed friendly and helpful.
Without a car can be awkward to get to.Restaurant not open at the weekend.
Super calm. Verry optimised. Clean. Lovely staff.
The room was extremely clean and tidy, with comfortable beds.
It was a bit small for three people. There was no fridge in the room.
Plenty of on site parking. Large well equipped double room with ensuite facilities. Very helpful reception staff who offered to speak English if I wished. The breakfast was good with a wide range of offerings to suit all tastes.
The hotel is a little tricky to find for a start and I would have struggled without SatNav, also it is situated on the very outskirts of Angers, this is accurately described on their Booking info. but also described is an on site restaurant which is a big plus given it's location, however the restaurant was closed and I was directed to a nearby restaurant (15 mins walk) that would have been difficult near impossible for someone with mobility issues. The surrounding area is a bland mix of modern housing and commercial premises, which have to be navigated to find the restaurant, not very easy and not something you want to do after a full day travelling.
Clear and tidy
Room for 3 very cramped
We had a very good stay in you’re hotel. A very nice welcome and the room was clean, nice with a very good bed. Unfortunately we had a delay, we could not have diner in the restaurant. Good and steady WiFi!
Non
Brilliant, property with great facilities. The room was very clean and well presented. Lovely style. Everything seemed new. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing, we really enjoyed our stay.
Location, modern, facilities, parking, water dispenser, breakfast options, shower
Staff very pleasant and friendly. Room clean and comfortable. Excellent power shower. Kettle in room with coffee with herbal and fruit teas. Excellent breakfast with good selection -;fresh fruit, yogurts, fruit juice, bacon and scrambled egg, cold meats and cheeses, pancakes, jam and pastries. Coffee machine. Restaurant in the hotel serves good dinner.
From the outside it was difficult to see that it was the hotel and not just a restaurant. We arrived early and the hotel was closed. Location is in a commercial district with little around. However, found a very good restaurant with parking 3 mins drive away La Taverna de la Caractere for lunch while we waited for reception to open at our prearranged time of 3pm.
Easy to get to, plenty of parking, easy drive or cycle to the city centre, quiet, room was pleasant and comfortable.
Check the check in times - we didn't realise that on a Sunday they didn't really want us to check in until 5pm. However, they did happily check us in at 3 when we arrived.
Friendly welcome and quick check in, plenty of parking. Room was spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable
Nice basic hotel, English speaking staff which was helpful.
Location is a bit intimidating when you arrive but we had no problems for one night
Very clean comfortable room
No lighting in bike storage area. Difficult locking process for bike container
Didnt have breakfast Room very clean, air conditioning great and very comfortable bed.
Not really any public transport to centre. Restaurant not open at weekend which we knew but it all turned out ok as drove to centre and found a great restaurant by the river.
