Location was awesome, hotel beautiful staff awesome and helpful
room was on the smaller side but adequate, is it a thing in france where you have to track down a washcloth?
Central location so easy to walk in to the centre of Angers. Excellent welcome from receptionist who provided helpful information. Parking available. Good breakfast.
Spiral staircase! No lift - although we were told this will be addressed in a refurbishment next year. No bar or lounge area. Separate toilet in room was very small.
Location was excellent, right near the old town. Breakfast was lovely with nice soft buttery croissants and pain au chocolat.
No bar
A perfect little French Manor house. Lovely rooms friendly staff, our dogs were made very welcome secure parking out the front if you happen to get there earlier enough if not there is safe parking just five minutes away. An excellent position to walk into the town , we will stay there again on our way through from Calais to Mazarron.
Beautiful little hotel and lovely courtyard, even some friends who live in Angers said they want to stay in it for a weekend as they picked me up from there and discovered how cute it was!
room was on the smaller size but I was solo so was fine. friends were in couples so perhaps their room was bigger
Great breakfast!
The room was a bit small and the hallway was a bit dark to be able to find the keyhole for the room!
On site parking. The room was spacious. There was extra bedding in the wardrobe which was great as the weather was quite cold. The location was perfect, right in the center of town so it was good for shopping and restaurants.
No lift. But in these old houses and hotels you rarely get one and we were only on the second floor.
Location central to activity Excellent staff and breakfast. Comfortable room
Shower doors leaked water to the floor
Very charming hotel with friendly staff. My room was cute and cosy and comfortable. I found my room very quiet and I rarely heard other guests. The courtyard was nice to sit in on a sunny day. The location of the hotel was excellent as it was easy to walk to the station and to the downtown area from it.
One small thing I noticed was mold on the bathroom ceiling. The extractor fan in the bathroom seemed to be motion activated and only stayed on for a short time before turning off, and there was no other ventilation for the bathroom. It would be helpful if there was a switch or a way to keep the fan on in the bathroom.
A compact, clean, and well-equipped room relieved my fatigue from the journey. The staff were nice and present at midnight. When you travel on weekends, I highly recommend adding breakfast since almost all cafes and shops are closed on Sundays. Most importantly, this hotel has the best croissant in the city!
The room was large enough for me, but for people with large luggage, it might be worth upgrading to a larger room since there were limited spaces to open a suitcase.
Check in was speedy. Staff friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Location was also good and you can walk into the main area in about 6 mins. The hotel is set in the older part of town and very quiet.
As we were in aground floor room with an outside bar and smoking area in warmer weather it might be noisy and smoky. Ask for a room in the main building if this bothers you.
Great location, easy walk to centre, restaurants, castle etc. Safe parking if you get there early enough at extra cost. Comfortable bed, good shower. Great breakfast.
No ordinary tea bags provided in the room or milk. It was grimy under the toilet rim.
Beautiful building , comfortable bed and pillows
Location was excellent, a few minutes walk in to the town centre. The parking in the courtyard was an added bonus.
The weather was miserable and the room was cold on arrival. The central heating was either not on or not working. However, the lady at reception very kindly gave us their electric heater.
Our room was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. We had to leave for the station at 5am and they organised a taxi for us. The hotel was in a great location within Angers and we could easily walk to the chateau, cathedral and other places of interest.
I loved the charm, the big windows, old staircase, little courtyard and walking distance to the center
Good location, central but in a quiet side street so while bars and restaurants are a short walk away there’s no noise at night. Also very easy to ride the tram to the train station. Staff was very nice and helpful and the building and lobby is charming. There is a wine bar downstairs which we didn’t try but looked like a nice spot to relax. Nice modern bathroom.
No elevator, so hauling big heavy suitcases up 3 flights of winding stairs, and I mean proper crooked old wooden stairs, was a pain. No air conditioning which normally might not be an issue but we were there during a heat wave so bad timing! They ran out of small towels and the next day ran out of large towels, the towel situation was very strange. Room is just big enough to fit a bed and not much else so again with large bags it was not the best setup. Definitely more suited for a more local traveler with a carry on.
