Great facilities

The hosts were amazing. Went out of their way to accomdate a very early checkin as i was attending a funeral and wanted to freshen up and change clothes. Super friendly and efficient.

We loved the warm welcome from KB and Carly on Reception and the relaxed retro surfing vibe. Our room was spacious, bright and immaculate and we loved the Mountain Views. Everything we needed was provided already, such as extra towels, a full length mirror in the bedroom and fresh milk in the fridge.The bathroom was enormous and light with an opening window and there were really effective blackout blinds. The large double bed was so comfortable and we slept really well as the neighbourhood was quiet. An added bonus was that Carly showed us how to use the new washer dryer so that all our laundry was ready to go again in a couple of hours… All in all, it couldn’t have been better - thanks so much guys!

Bathroom was a little small

the lovely family that run the place.unfortunately we were there for a funeral.they prepared our room early so we could change our clothing...much appreciated.

The room was spotless and had super comfy beds. The staff were really nice & very helpful too. My room was downstairs & I had my own outdoor table & chairs + sun umbrella.

Had SKY TV, but all that was available was LOTS of sports channels. There was no other option for people who don't like watching sports.

Excellent facility, and staff were super friendly and welcoming. The room and facilities were spotless and in a great location for what I needed. The addition of a conference center was noted and discussed about potential business bookings.

We were just passing through Whangamata for 1 night, the accommodation was in a good location, with good facilities including a spa pool and the hosts were very friendly and helpful

The property is an older accomodation that has been recently renovated. It’s quirky but in the best possible way. The new owners are terrific hosts and a pleasure to chat with. They are extremely friendly and really engaged in their local community. They were extremely helpful in every way they could be.The rooms are small but well appointed. The linen and towels are good quality and everything is spotlessly clean. The kitchen facilities were all new and more than adequate.There was a small private courtyard that was lovely to sit in and have a drink and a chat whilst playing cards in the evening.I hope the owners have success with their new venture - they have made the effort to please their clients and deserve it.

I like that we could leave and come back and chill. If we wanted to socialise we could. The RSA across the road we had access to for food and it was yummy. Loved the art was calming and chilling and there where amazing comfortable blankets on the bed to feel snuggled.

The place was very clean, host was very accommodating and it’s just a walking distance to the restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and we like the vibe around the area. The spa was definitely a bonus! My husband asked me when are we going back. ? wished we would have stayed longer

The Owner is amazing and made us feel very welcome. I love the beautiful, quirky, beachy vibe of the place and the outdoor greenery is stunning. Our room was safe and cosy and offered everything we needed for our two nights stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was a 10/10. The location is perfect if you want to walk into town for a drink and dinner. Me and my husband had such a peaceful stay. Highly recommend. Thanks again
