ibis budget Le Puy En Velay

My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The level of conveniences for with my needs and the cost of the room. I felt safe in this property, a wonderful thing for a solo female traveler.

The foodstuffs in the vending machines were great - lots of options. I struggled with receiving my change from the machine. But the staff on hand assisted regularly with this issue. Perhaps the vending machines were in need of maintenance from a company that placed them in the lobby?

Hotel was across from train station and within walking distance to almost everything, being that Le Puy is a very walkable city. Staff was friendly and it was helpful a few spoke English well. We had a mini split in the room for a/c and worked well.

Our room was at the far end of the hotel so we couldn't connect to the wifi. The shower heads were about chest height.

Perfectly located hotel. Right next to the train& bus station and few minutes walk to the city center shopping and restaurants. Reception team is very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for the tea and pastry samples in the lobby! The room was simple and had the basic amenities for a short stay.

Third stay there before walking the Chemin Le Puy. Convenient and comfortable. Staff is very helpful.

Excellent place to start a visit to le puy. Across the street from the train station. The rooms are cell like but super clean and the beds and linens great. Breakfast a terrific value.

Super welcoming staff. They nicely catered to my request (i.e. upper level & view to the city).After some heavy snow during the night and morning, I was basically stuck with my car - i got the same room despite already having checked out and having left to stay another night and wait for the roads to be cleared. Also walking distance to the inner city and cathedral and opposite of the train station.

Room was fairly basic but everything worked, was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the car parking - usual cost 5 Euros - was thrown in for free! Amazing value for money

Shower cubicle in the room was a little small

Breakfast was excellent: staff were very helpful and kept things stocked and tidy. Room was adequate for a short stay - we really enjoyed the AC. The location was convenient for a late arrival by train after 24 hours of travel, and for walking around the whole city.

Clean, modern with excellent parking facilities

Breakfast was slightly chaotic and not everything on offer appeared fresh.In contrast to the very welcoming receptionist in the evening that this morning seemed fed up and rather sullen.

Good breakfast, courteous staff, helpful Luc, nice view of the station, and the TV had BBC on channel 32!!!! My wife loved the recycling facilities!

It would have been nice to have a garage parking spot as we were concerned for safety of our hired car.

The location was great. The breakfast was well organised and included local food.

Well located!! I loved the fact that I got off the train and walked straight to the Hotel. Very nice staff and they answered all my questions. All the sites were within walking distance and I could see them from my room. Plenty of food and beverage around!

Best Ibis budget I have stayed in. Staff all excellent friendly and helpful Easy check in and check out available til 1230Spacious room super clean super functional. Bed pillows and linen super comfortable. Quiet room day and night. Excellent sleep Much appreciated. Wifi fast Excellent value for money.

Comfortable, nice location, parking, great value for money

It is described as a budget hotel which is it is. Small, basic rooms but adequate. Good garage for secure parking. Right opposite the restyled train station. Quiet & calm. Receptionists all good, ready to help when needed, good English also spoken if required by guests. Breakfast room “compact” I.e. budget. I stay here one night on return north. It’s a good location & Le Puy is a historic city worth exploring.

Stunning location just across from the train station.Worked very well for me. Also near supermarkets.
