Ceanliness n near mall, lots of beds too

Very clean, tidy and warm, excellent customer service, excellent communication, good price and the best location.

Very clean, Everything is set properly, all amenities were present in a small place, the girl at the reception is very nice.

Exceptionally squeaky clean - amazing! Friendly and helpful staff.

Strong smell of air freshener that persisted overnight. The room was so clean that spraying chemical air freshener is not necessary.

For a very budget friendly Motel the room was very clean and tidy. The beds are comfortable and gave us a good nights sleep. The space in the lounge area includes a good size table and chairs. Very approachable staff who looked after all our needs during our 3 night stay.

The shower is showing its age but it still works fine and has plenty of hot water.

Awesome place to say over, the unit we stayed in was very neat and comfy beds. The swimming pool was a blessing due to the very hot weather and we enjoyed the communal barbeque area very much. Central location to hop out to Paihia and Cape Reinga

Value for money, clean bed, linen, towels, shower, fridge, stove... all you need.

We didn't have to continue to stay in the dirty room with poor wifi as the reception person gave us another room. Fortunately, the motel is not fully occupied. Facilities are basic but location is quite near to town.

We were surprised to find that 2 beds (one in each room) were not cleaned up upon check in. The bed sheets were not changed on these 2 beds, the bathroom mat is left hanging on the shower curtain rod. Clean shower towels were left on the dining table. We took photos of the room condition and immediately informed the reception person. The person was shocked to see the condition of the room and immediately arranged for us to stay in another room.

Space and facilities

Office was not attended at 2.30 pm closed for lunch. Had to wait 30 minutes until office opened. We ensured we checked in early, before exploring the town as the office closed at 6 pm. Some confusion in communication.

AAA +++ we needed a late check-in after hours. kaitaia motor lodge accommodated us for keys to our rooms, which meant that we didn't have to stress about our booking. I would highly recommend kaitaia motor lodge for future stays. You definitely won't be disappointed. Rooms are amazing, definitely for big families, and rooms were amazing ? ? ?

Nice and clean room. Friendly staff worth the money.

Just minor: no handwash in bathroom. Carving knife could be sharpened.

Well resourced kitchen. Clean and recently renovated/painted. Roomy. Close to supermarket.

There was a smell in room perhaps from cleaning products.

Not enough Powerpoints in kitchen. Had to unplug things to plug in kettle or microwave. Couldn't use dining table as it had a wobbly leg.

It was in a good location. Right across from The Warehouse. The wifi worked well and the smart TV was a good addition. Each room has an allocated car park out front, which was wide.

We left after the first day. Really did not enjoy this property, because:•The mugs in the room were overtly dirty with hot chocolate residue in them (pictured). •The kettle’s handle was broken, making it haphazard to use. •The fridge was not on when we arrived, and had a broken shelf.•The queen bed was highly uncomfortable (springy) and had no duvet (it had just a top sheet and a blanket at the foot of the bed). The single beds were a lot more comfortable, but still were only fitted with a top sheet and blanket. •Lots of dust around the corners of the bedroom and near the outlets. •Magazine paper tucked into the light above the large bed (pictured). •No A/C. Whilst fans are provided, it did not do a lot on the hot night we stayed. •Blatantly broken body wash pump, which was left on the windowsill of the bathroom when we arrived (pictured upon entering). •Uncomfortable sofa. •Lots of scuffing on the walls. •Extremely noisy room due to noise from the road.

It was clean and reasonably priced. Good for our purposes of visiting the surrounding area.

Bed was a bit soft and the table is unstable.

Location was great, nice and close to packnsave, warehouse etc. Beds were super comfy ?

Easy access from main road.

No hand rails in shower, nowhere to put your soap except the floor.Location of microwave was dangerous.Even the staff admitted to cracking their heads on the shelf.Not good health and safety.
