Staff was great. Location was close to restaurants and perfect for my plans for the area

The staff were very friendly, greeted by Teri and was set up straight away. Needed extra rubbish bags as we had a lot of rubbish, the ladies Teri and Loweda were very accomadating. It was nice to speak to the staff that understood what you needed, astray, rubbish bags and fly spray as there were ants. Showers were excellent, nice to have.

There was nothing that was not likeable.

Tidy, clean and very suitable for us. Had all the amenities we needed. I'll be back again. The staff are so lovely .Thank you for having us.

The reception lady was awesome we have stayed here 4x each time was awesome the last trip in june i had left my pair of runners behind i thought i had lost them last weekend past in sept we turned up she had my shoes ready for me unbelievable 5star

Kauri Lodge is a fairly typical motel, with spacious reasonably well equiped rooms. It is in a very good location adjacent to the main Kaitaia shopping street. The main feature to call out is that the person we dealt with could not have been more helpful - this makes a real dsifference and we would stay again.

Felt it was quite expensive for the facilities. Have stayed in far more modern and comfortable places for less money

Separate rooms . Kitchen. Bid bed is comfortable.

Small beds are too soft. No salt or oil in kitchen.

The accommodation people are really nice. The room we checked in was clean and tidy, also very convenient to accommodate a big family.

Parking if front of the unit, easy check in, spacy, well equipped, good shower.

Unpleasant smell of bed linens (probably from washing powder).

All 3 studios were extremely spacious, with kitchenettes and lounging areas in all. Although older style, they were super clean and very comfortable.

Excellent value for money, great location on our grand tour. Close to town centre. The staff were very friendly, helpful and really needed nice.

I am a very big man 6`4 160kg the shower and toilet areas where very small.

Very pleasant and exceptionally helpful staff.

It's one of those NZ motels built in the 70's when insulation was underutilised. Upgrades have been made in the bathroom and a heat exchanger has been retrofitted. The main problem was the lack of sound insulation and some noisy neighbours with some choice language made our stay less pleasant than we would have liked.

AC worked perfectly. Beds comfortable. Shower very hot.Milk provided.Parking outside the door

Careful with the hot shower, a slight touch and it can be seriously too hot.
