Loved everything about it, have been there many times, we enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Will definately stay again.

The managers were wonderful hosts. The room had warm shower, comfortable bed, and had a washer and dryer. This hotel is in a great location. They had a safe location to store my bicycle.

Stunning views from the lawn of this property and literally sparkling clean. A beautiful spot to stop. Kids loved having the basketball hoop next to our room.

It was across the street from the 4 square, and the takeaway.

We went to bed early - still not got our body clocks into New Zealand time - but chap in next room to us talked extremely loudly whether in room or outside. We actually ended up though having great nights sleep in the end

nothing of very disappointing, considering there're no much alternatives in the neightborhood, yet the unit was a very basic one bathroom was inexplicably small compared with the main room clean and quite comfortable bed tiny walls do not provide any noise insulation not from the busy road on the back nor from the adjoining rooms the water of the pool was hazygood views on the gulf most of the visitor spots are reachable in a hour by car

We stayed here on the way back from Cape Reinga to break our journey. The Motel was easy to find and check in was straightforward. There was also a decent bar/casual food place across the road. Other than that, facilities are pretty limited so a car is essential. The rooms were basic but clean & safe, so overall met our expectations.

The TV reception is not operative. I paid for motel style accommodation with kitchenette and tv. Nothing more annoying than room where tv reception hasn’t been attended to.

Super spot. Can sit on picnic bench up from room overlooking wharf. Bar/cafe and 4square opposite. Comfy bed. Spacious. Small pool to cool off in. Just off main road but surprisingly quiet

It’s not fancy, but served all our needs

Staff was helpful, place was clean and room was available early. The location is ideal to visit Cape Rainga. Rawawa Beach and Sand Dunes are a must see in the area. Also Honeybee paui pie and ice cream are divine.

A few lounge chairs by the pool would be nice. Hair dryer is only available at the front desk. No milk for the coffee. Minor details.
