Beachcomber Motel & Apartments Apollo Bay

The owners are wonderful and so helpful and friendly. Very clean and includes a washer and dryer accommodations.

Clean room.

The bathroom is too small especially the wash basin. Unable to fill up the kettle directly.

That it was clean

Way way to small in room size .bed size and bathroom size .not insulated enough for noise

Helpful information about the area at check-in. Unexpected kitchen supplies was a bonus.

Facilities were OK clean and had what we needed. No staff in sight at all.

Laundry hours restricted from 2-8pm so can’t really use them if you arrive late.

Dont go, no value for money

Room size, value for money, cleanliness, noise

Clean and spacious. Nearby food places and the beach. A short walk away and really convenient.

Room had all the essentials and linens were nice

The room was tiny. Bathroom, tho modern could use a deep clean

The room was very spacious, cosy, comfy and clean. Was nice to have extra blankets as it was a cold night. The location is great, walking distance to the main street and beach. Was nice to have a well-stocked kitchenette too.

Shower head was too low for a tall person, and the bed is on wheels which made it kind of hard to watch movie sitting up in bed which was a little annoying.

Great shower. Comfy bed. Big room, we had an upgrade.

No tea bags or coffee. TV navigation and internet connectivity not good. Shame that there isn't someone on reception to welcome you.

Location

Wasn’t clean and could not get clean towels and our room made up when we asked.

Really good sized room, clean and comfy and an easy stroll to the main strip

Bad service. Shouldn’t have booked the place

Room was too small, no space to keep our larges. Two small beds and not comfortable. Looks like a single bed room was converted into a double room. Room service staff didn’t understand English. (Unable to communicant). I witnessed the staff using plain tap water to wash used dishes. I tried to complain to the management by calling the numbers were giving but no success. I’ll never recommend the place to anyone.

Spacious, has cooking utensils and cooktop

Large bathroom (frosted) window, no curtains. Showered in the dark. The key to the room was in an envelope outside reception door. Key should have been placed in a far more secure location in a more secure way, whether from staff at reception or a coded lockbox.

Nothing they canceled our booking because of error on booking.com and charged us way over for 1 night stay $980

We were waiting outside property from Friday 9:30 pm with my kids and partner to check in at 2:30 pm on Saturday even requested early checkin, they replied not possible. At 11Am on Saturday we received message that our booking is cancelled because of some error on booking.com attached message below I’m from the beachcomber motel in Apollo Bay. I see that we received a booking from Booking.com for you but we have no room for today. There must have been an error from booking.com. You might need to contact them and get your money back.

The bed was terrible. Not enough pillows. No microwave. The shower rose was clapped.

Location to Apollo bay beach and main shops and restaurants

Basic, small room, tiny bathroom - ok for one night

Lady servicing rooms helpfull and lady maybe owner got me some extra dish washing liquid

Lounge chair looked old worn and dirty, microwave was old and little dirty

It was difficult to work out where to put the door card to open the door It would be helpful to have instructions example hold the door card over the card symbol in between the numbers There was another couple who didn’t know how to open the door

Great to have a laundry although did have limits on times you can use it.Kitchen was stocked with the basics although no plug for the sink to wash up. We did try asking staff for a plug but couldn’t get onto them as it was before opening time. Comfortable and close to shops.
