Nightcap at Hotel Victor

A clean and modern hotel with lovely staff and great location. Also excellent place to stop off and prepare for a Kangaroo Island morning ferry if you’re touring.

Nice balcony but view across rooftops. Slightly odd bathroom arrangement but adequate for one night.Unfortunately our neighbours came back very late & had obviously had a lot to drink. They seemed to have “guests” in their room & we could hear there whole conversation. The walls are thin, they were loud & we had a connecting door that added to the problem.

Location is close to restaurants and tourist attractions.

The Studio King room is quite small, especially the bathroom.

The room was very spacious, bathroom was absolutely stunning! Beautiful view from out room and the staff were lovely, food downstairs was fantastic too, I will definitely be back in victor harbour soon!

The accommodation was comfortable. Bathrooms somewhat small. View over ACs and neighbouring roof could be screened. You will know what I mean if you stay there. Lady poured me a wine from three different bottles. Needless to say that I couldn't drink it. Free $10 drink voucher is great.

As above. The Hotel is generally very good. Just some improvements could make it a bit better.

Room was a good size with an excellent view. It had table and chairs and tea/ coffee making facilities. There was plenty of hot water and the shower was modern with good pressure. The bed was super comfortable and it was quiet at night.We didn’t use the bar or the restaurant.

The balcony in Room 2 had no view! It would have been nice to have a few plates and basic cutlery provided.

Good location, staff very friendly. Comfortable bed and free drink voucher on arrival was nice touch.

The ocean view suite was reasonably spacious for family of 4 (children 5 and 3 yr old) with a good view. The sofa bed was set up for us. The bath room was spacious with double shower. There was a kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Location was fantastic in the heart of Victor harbor, walking distance to everywhere.

The bathroom floor needed more cleaning - we had to wipe them ourselves as they were very dusty!

Overall I liked the hotel. Reception lady was wonderful.

When we arrived we looked at the restaurant menu and saw they served lobster morning so we booked thinking we were in for a treat! It was horrible - cold lobster with garlic and I think mozzarella cheese melted on top! No sauce! I was able to eat some but it was terrible so most went back to the kitchen! $42 in the bin! My partners spaghetti and meatballs was very dry also.

It was very comfortable and clean. We particularly liked the food at the restaurant downstairs so it made for a very easy experience.

The car park where we needed to park was always full so park down the road.
