Beachside Sunnyvale Motel

What a gem of a place and lovely owner. Quiet and an easy walk to the waterside. We stayed for one night before taking the ferry from Picton to Wellington.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was well appointed, and I especially loved the dinner set. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was clean.

Mmm nothing

It's 60s style reminded us of our youth and home Comfortable and plenty of space indoors. There are two outdoor seating areas and a car park at the door. Motel is close to the beach and we felt very welcome by the friendly owners.

It was very quiet and beds were comfy. Older motel with updated bathroom but had everything we needed and more. Hosts were great ? would stay again

Perfectly placed motel , clean with hot shower. Very friendly host .

TV was a nightmare to get going ?‍♀️ , but they fixed the problem, excellent hosts

Very warm welcome, theres only 4-5 unites, ours was spotless, quaint details, and very comfy beds, would definitely reccommend.

Room was comfortable. The location is great if you are on vacation. We only stayed one night, so location was not a priority for us. The host was amazing.

Ben was a little soft for my liking, but that is my only issue.

The location; close to Picton, across the road from the beach and near the marina.

Slight sewer smell?

The location was perfect for us. Needed to take the ferry over from Picton. Close to the beach and a local restaurant we walked to. Check In was a breeze. Nice shower, bathroom, kitchen and always appreciate milk from local dairy farms. There were two beds in living room, I took one twin and slept well. The owner was so pleasant and lovely.

I wish we had more of a view from our room, but you could walk across the street to the beach area which was nice. We only stayed one night so it was a quick trip.

Owner was a beautiful lady, very friendly and welcoming. The room was big with everything you need, stove, fridge, just like a home, very homely like your nans place. Handy to swimming across the road where there is a bbq handy as well.

Bit old fashioned, bit costly for a night and not close to town. Not much food options close by so it is a short drive to town if you want to go out for a meal.

Friendly, welcoming host, generously-sized unit, a quirky mixture of old and new - which we loved. Overall a delight and a lovely stay. It was good to explore this little area outside of Picton.

Long way from restaurants and supermarkets Room a bit musty

Good location and very friendly staff - met me at midnight when I arrived.

Could feel the springs in the single bed, but otherwise perfect for what I needed

Location was lovely just outside picton - host was very welcoming. Gave us some milk for a coffee - lovely touch.

There was no local shop for anything extra- had to drive to picton.
