    Pros +

    • The staff was very friendly and there were homemade desserts for the guests.
    • clean, cozy, sympathic, helpful stuff, eclectic
    • Funky old hostel. Very comfy though too. Lots of books to read, musical instruments. Free breakfast. Older staff who actually have a personality. I loved it, wish I could have stayed longer.

    Cons -

    • The dorm room was cold and there was a minor leak in the roof.
    • The big bunk room is close to the front desk and is one way to get to some of the rest of the hostel. So you can get through traffic.
    • Web site said free car parking, but it wasn’t free car park. Also staff didn’t mention about car parking so we got fine fee. The room has fan but was broken, no window on hot day. Couldn’t stand the room at all. Also the room was next the kitchen so lots of noise until mid night.

I absolutely loved my three nights stay here. The hostel is full of nice wall art works. The room is very clean and quiet. I love the big kitchen. And they provide breakfast and a free dessert. I was able to park my car in the backyard. It is very centrally located, walking distance to the ferry port. The hostess is very sweet.

    Nothing really

Everything was great. Staff very attentive. Very clean.I just had to adjust to co-ed bathrooms and showers - I wasn't aware of when I booked

Not to keen on co-ed showers

    6JihongPosted on: 11-13-2025

Very nice staff. Good location close to the ferry port.

There were hairs on the bed sheet and pillows. Seems they weren't changed from previous use.

Perfect location, only a short walk from the port, ideal after a long ferry journey. The host is super welcoming and helpful, giving all the tips you need for a smooth stay.

The rooms aren’t very soundproof! Even though I had a private room, I could hear footsteps and hallway noise. The washrooms were reasonably clean but could be maintained a bit better.

Great location, friendly staff, and great facilities

    9JoyPosted on: 10-19-2025

Loved Atlantis, the decor alone is an experience! Eclectic, artsy, homey, cozy, loved it! Great Staff. Free freshly baked dessert was yummy ? Free breakfast a bonus, especially with brown bread ? Loved the lounge area with fireplace, much needed on a cold, rainy, windy, night. Friendly guests. Would stay again & highly recommend!

Aesthetically done. Lovely staff going extra mile out of passion and love for fellow travellers. Owner personally picked up and dropped off to airport.

Amazing and friendly staff. Free breakfast. Very unique and decorative. Great atmosphere. Right by the harbor.

I liked the general vibe of the place, and the common room was nice

The big shared room was really big with many beds

    8AnyuonPosted on: 5-11-2025

Friendly staff and very helpful. I left my bank card accidentally and they sent it to me through another traveler on the ferry.

    7ErlindaPosted on: 5-1-2025

Traditional breakfast with bread and butter, Marmelade, coffee and tea

Perfect location just around the corner nothing to complain

    10AbbyPosted on: 4-30-2025

Cool hostel, we booked a private room and it was comfy & cosy. Great location, good kitchen amenities, lots of areas to chill. Lovely helpful staff. Super clean too.

    Nothing!

    8CarolienPosted on: 4-29-2025

The staff were very kind, showed me around and the room was awesome!

You have to go through a hallway and the lounge to get to the bathrooms

    10JanekPosted on: 4-29-2025

Everything – the atmosphere was magical, the staff incredibly kind, and the common areas full of character. It felt more like a creative community than a hostel. The quirky decor, the warmth, and the vibe made it a truly unforgettable stay

Honestly, nothing. It was perfect for me

    7FrancescaPosted on: 4-24-2025

The Atlantis has a very good vibe, it’s an art piece and has a warm feeling, it’s clear the owner has put a lot of effort in decorating it and giving it a personal style

    I would prefer separate toilets

    6jackiePosted on: 4-23-2025

Cheap and easy and close to the ferry which was all we needed .

It was really noisy and I couldn’t sleep . Constant doors banging and I could hear people walking above my head .
