The Motor Inn is clearly "old", but it is obvious that improvements are being made. We had a beautiful new bathroom which was a delight and the added bonus of lovely toileteries. As there were three of us travelling the extra bedroom was a bonus. Bedspreads are always an issue for me, they really don't enhance the look of the rooms any more. Everything we needed for an overnight stay was there. The property was only a five minute walk to the "CBD". Alexandra is a lovely little town and I would recommend this property without any hesitation. Johanna was very welcoming and made me feel very welcome. Thank you.

We were near the walkway to the laundry and there were workers and other travellers who it seemed were up very early and attempting to wake other travellers, it seemed before the sun came up. As we were on holiday and in no hurry, to hear loud voices and knocking on doors so early was annoying, but not the fault of the property.

Owner is open and honest, very welcoming. Room was warm and met the requirements of our trip.

It was a lovely warm Unit and well appointed. Everything we needed was there.It is conveniently located handy to New World and places to eat..

Warm friendly welcome, nice friendly atmosphere, extremely comfortable and clean units and very spacious, even the court yard was very clean and tidy and everything you needed in appliances for a good stay.Excellent pricing. One thing I would add make sure you book directly with them so your hard earned Kiwi Dollars don't get siphon off over season.

We loved the convenience being next to the supermarket, the friendly, welcoming reception, place to store and charge bikes.

The lady at reception was great friendly and advise on where to eat and the meal we had was excellent She informed us on everything we needed to know

Double bedrooms so roomy and comfortable , sunny and quiet even tho close to main road .Good facilities.. except a coffee percolator would be handy

TV was not fun .. but owners are working on that !

It was a great size room with sky tv, extra beds, awesome shower.

Good location next door to a supermarket. Our room was comfortable with a good shower. We appreciated the use of a shed to store our E-bikes.

The BBQ area could do with a spruce up.

The Alexandra Motor Lodge is in a great location next to New World and close to the town centre. We have returned a few times. The owners are very accommodating and great to deal with.
