Logis Hotel Du Chateau

The staff was as good as any 5 star hotel without the obsequiousness. Very helpful & followed up on requests we made. Great location. Close to everything, including the 2 bus to The Memorial, chateau, the 2 abbayes, short walk or tram to train stations, shopping, restaurants. The facilities were spotless. Room was basic 3 stars with no pretense. Priced appropriately for the facility so good value. Simple breakfast served by helpful staff.

The hotel is central, very close to the Chateau de Caen amd also close to a shopping area and a Printemps. Staff is fast and very efficient, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. The hotel has some parking places just behind its building.

Very walkable to most everything. All forms of public transportation a few steps away. Staff were great. Good breakfast.

Bathroom was a little small.

Our room was beautiful. The staff was so helpful and kind, we speak very little French but everyone spoke enough English for us to get through any communication necessary. The parking was full for our first night so we parked in a public lot. Breakfast was delicious!

Having to call to be let in and out of the parking was slightly inconvenient (because we didn’t have an international phone plan) but we worked it out!

Beautiful and perfect location. Fans so wasn’t hot at night on a very hot night.

Light in bathroom didn’t turn off by switch. Room would have been perfect otherwise. Maybe a dim light could be on.

It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good.

The breakfast should have been free. I did not like the carpet in the room. My colleague slept on the small bed and said it was not super comfortable.

Great

V noisy indeed in street on Saturday night.A kettle and tea/coffee in room would be good.

Location and cleanliness

No tea or coffee facilities within your room, but you could purchase a drink from reception.

Very friendly staff. Very good location. Room a little small, particularly the bathroom (but with an excellent shower).Simple but adequate breakfast.

Design of bathroom.

Good location - great staff - large breakfast

Great central location and helpful staff

Room was very basic - but value for money

Fantastic location, staff was helpful.

Door was difficult to open.

Lovely and clean and central

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room No air conAnd no parking luckily we found a space on the street

Room was suitable for us. they had a garage in back to store our bikes. reception spoke little English, but were very helpful otherwise.

The location, cleanliness and room size

Central location, 6 minute cycle from station. Secure bike store, very comfortable bed, walking distance to good selection of restaurants.

Wonderful staff, convenient location.

The fact that I could hear someone's CPAP machine from someone of the same floor.

This hotel was in a very central location and has a parking garage; though there is a fee. We were a party of 9 with a van and having easy access to parking was very important to use.

There was no AC, but that seems typical in France. It was not a problem.

Great hotel with perfect location at very center of city. Close to railway station, also stops of public transport nearby.Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.

Great location, hotel was good value, and staff was excellent, Cassandra was lovely and very helpful.
