Smartappart Caen Grusse

No temperature controls. No staff anywhere on site. Reception always had door shut and locked. Thank god another guest helped us get into entryway and out of rain so we could call

Location, good size, clean

The radiator had a problem and made a lot of noise when it was on.

Nice modern apartment with everything needed for short stay in Caen. Near train station, historic center, gorgeous park/river walk, food and restaurant and shopping. Has free laundry machines in basement (though the machines do take a very long time to wash and to dry). Room has all necessities (plates, utensils, pots and pans). Would be extra useful if they add some basics like salt, oil, etc. for those wanting to make a simple meal.

Maybe some washing detergent ( free or for purchase) at laundry machines.

The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We arrived prior to check in and they did everything they could to get us settled into our room.

No a/c, no soap; had to use dish soap in the bathroom and shower, no coffee, did not make the beds, hallways smelled like sewage.

It was a nice property in a good location. We enjoyed walking to the castle and nearby shopping and restaurants. Thank you for a nice stay.

It was great.

Great location right in the heart of Caen — perfect for exploring the city on foot. The paid parking nearby was very convenient and made arriving with a car hassle-free. The apartment was a comfortable base for our stay!

The nice size studio was walking distance to the center of town. It was on the first floor of the building. The stairs were narrow but we only had carry-ons so it was no problem. It was well equipped for a short stay.

Nice space, clean and very well located

a bit clinic, but OK

Perfect proximity to the centre de congress only 5 minutes walk

Wash dispensers empty in the shower and bathroom - we were on the ground floor and the noise all night of people coming and going was very loud the apartment above us was like they were moving the furniture for several hours

Location and feel. I was in the unit on the top floor, which had 3 windows that opened up. Only drawback is the stairs are tiny and certain people would experience real difficulty in taking luggage up (I did not find it easy)!

The room is quite well apportioned although the shower is tiny. It is not possible to raise both arms without bumping into the walls (that kind of thing).

The bed was very comfortable and the place was really quiet and peaceful.

Nothing, everything was great, except for the location, which made us walk a bit from the city centre, but nothing special.

Fabulous self contained apartment in a quiet location close to all amenities.

Location was great, Nice and clean

The fridge was very loud

Apartment as described. Windows open for fresh air. Easy instructions provided for entry. Felt very secure.

I taught it was in the city centre but it wasn't. Room was quite small. We have to make the second bed, although it was booked for 4 people. Price was higher than our other hotels in Caen.

The location was amazing and the room was cosy and well furnished.

The shower drain let sewer smell come out every now and then so we had to keep bathroom door shut when not in use.

Ease of access. Location.

Wi fi not working was not resolved

It was very clean and very secure

Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable so we both slept downstairs. The spiral staircase was a little hard for me as I have knee problems but I managed.

Nice location, easy access from the train station. Apartments were the same as the picture and communication was fast and fluid.

The location was great and everything was clean and the accommodation felt safe and secure.

Lots of stairs but get to the room but that is ok if you are able.
