The location close to the station and the light rail was very good. The room was spacious although a lot of space was given over to a lobby area. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food frequently replenished. There was access to tea making facilities in the foyer of the hotel. The room and bathroom had good storage space. The staff were helpful, and when the air con switched to heating provided us with a handle to open the window so we got cool fresh air at night.

The double bed was two singles pushed together and the connection was lumpy. The plastic underlay under the sheet made the bed very hot.

Super convenient to train station and very proximate to historic area. We were able to check in at 1pm, just after our train arrived. That was fantastic b/c we could drop our bags, refresh and go explore Caen after a tasty snack of fresh popcorn from lobby. The hotel staff were very helpful and patient. Their English was excellent which helped a lot. Room was very clean, spacious and pleasant. The view was great!

Nothing!!

All was excellent. Two blocks from the train station, neighbour to a small shopping centre, cinemas and restaurants. Trams at the door, free shuttle to old town and chateau although it is an easy walk. They provided secure bicycle storage.

Breakfast was awesome. Loved the light in the dining room … windows all around. Full breakfast with vast choice

Parking could be slighly challenging

Modern and clean. Parking was direct to the building. Staff were helpful.

No water or tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom. Bedroom was very overlooked with only curtains at the window. Everything was very basic and not worth the money paid. For over £200 for the night I would expect much more.

Right in the centre of town - good parking underneath with access directly into hotel

Bed wasn’t comfortable - sheet didn’t fit, so ended up on the plastic. Breakfast was functional rather than nice.

Location, friendly staff, very good breakfast, room*s size and cleanliness, noise proof.

There was no fridge in the room, but it was alright with me.

Location is excellent. Local trams go in front of the hotel and busses 100 m away. Train station across the street.

Good location, about 10 minutes walk from the train station. Close to a number of amenities and a tram to downtown. Better than average breakfast for IBIS

Next to the train station. New and clean.

This is a nice hotel with spacious rooms, a nice bar area and a good breakfast. Its location is excellent, near the station, a tram and free shuttle bus into town and a few chain restaurants in the adjoining shopping centre.

The hotel has an arrangement with the adjacent car park to cover the overnight cost. However on this and previous recent occasions, the machine did not recognise the ticket provided by the hotel.

Clean and comfortable . Staff were helpful and about 2 km away from most sights, but catching the tram was easy.

The room did not have a fridge and a safe.

Great location within short walking distance to the city centre, public transport and main line rail station. Staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful.

Reasonably convenient for Caen railway station (the hotel is reached from the station main entrance via a lengthy underpass), and situated on the the quais of the River Orne, with lots of food outlets nearby. The Reception Staff were welcoming and very helpful.

All OK - the room was basic but functional.

Besides parking issue EXCELLENT!

There’s underground parking. It’s partly covered by the hotel unless your car is parked for more than 12h, then you pay the fixed parking’s fee of 30€. We’re quickly outside that bracket if you arrive night time, sleep and visit the next day. We only stayed 1 night so I didn’t ask if it was 30€ per day… Besides that, everything was perfect!!

Close to train and rental car with great access to public transportation. Large mall and parking. Several restaurants nearby. Front desk staff were most helpful.

Colour scheme.

Ibis has the common standards and similarities in the different countries and locations . I trust this hotel and I am always sure what I will get , the location in Cean is top ! Just in the city centre , busy area and very nice and safe neighbourhood. Restaurants and shopping centre just one min walk . Parking is great with enough car charging slots .

Breakfast was poor , no mini bars in rooms that is a minus.
