The gardens and pools and entertainment was good

Its very cold ,windy and dark , we had to get a heater from reception as the room was cold

The room was with a very nice view. Sunsets are very beautiful from the private pool room.

The food taste in the buffet was a bit disappointing

The hotel is a Place to go… all facilities are really special, making me peaceful and disconnected. Nice swimming pool areas and good breakfast, the best “mangos” I have tried ever! Very nice food in the African restaurant

I had a small issue at the restaurant but the hotel’s staff managed it properly with good gesture and the final outcome was positive

We had a great stay! The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and everything ran smoothly from check-in to check-out. The rooms were comfortable (we had to change because of noisy guests), and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Overall, an excellent experience!

Loved the style of the hotel, loads of places to explore and discover, the whole vibe and amenities, food was delicious plenty and varied and all was complemented by the amazing professional and genuinely kind staff… would love to come back one day! Keep up the amazing work you are all doing!

Would’ve loved to see complementary filtered water dispenser on each floor or an alternative to this in the minibar. Water is one the things we shouldn’t worry about in hotel of this caliber. Same goes for the lunch and dinner service. As done in the case of the breakfast the water should be complementary in my opinion. Thank you for considering it!

In general our experience was good and we liked almost everything

It could be great to have some areas (pools and relax zone) to be adults only, because there wasn't. Even though the gym was 16+ some people brought their children who were visibly under 13 years old. The food variety was good for breakfast and dinner,but the lunch options there were quite limited. Water dispensers is a must everywhere,specially for this climate and for 5* resort.

We loved our stay in Lopesan BaoBab. The room and hotel grounds, pools bars and restaurants where great. You get the feeling of being in jungle. The staff was always helpful and polite. The breakfast was very good with a lot of options. We would definitely visit again.

The garden, the pools, restaurants, foods, day and night athmosphere was very good!

Sometimes guests had to wait long at the reception and some of the ladies were in a bad mood.

Breakfast was excellent. Pools and landscaping were fantastic. Atmosphere was really unusual and unique - very interesting and well done. Great proximity to the promenade and dunes.

Could have had more people on reception - had to queue each time. Also the reception staff didn’t really have any suggestions or offer any advice on what we could do in the local area, which was surprising.

I have to be honest, not a lot about this hotel that I liked. The staff are definitely great and friendly, the hotel is clean and beautiful decor inside. The location is good too. Breakfast and dinner is very good too, they do buffet, but not cheap quality, their quality of food is definitely very high. But these are the things that you would expect from any 5 star hotel. I wouldn't say it's a 5 star hotel though.

I think the main let down for this hotel is the management, as the staff clearly are very good, but the whole system is super strange. First thing I noticed that the whole hotel is very dark inside, not enough of lightning, but that can be just a part of their decor, which is like a Jungle theme, which is ok, but the rooms are just as dark too, not enough of lighting in the rooms. If you want to keep your hotel with a dark theme then that's ok, but please install additional lights in the room for the people who need more lighting. If you want to read books or something in the room then you have no chance. Dinner was included in our stay, but they don't serve coffee during dinner, they tell you to go to the bar which is on another floor. They charge you for water during the dinner, but will offer you a glass of champagne for free. If you ask for water, before they will even bring it to you they will ask how you gonna pay, cash or card and as soon as they bring it to you they ask for payment there and then. Same happens at the bar or a pool, they ask for payment right away after each drink. What kind of 5 star hotel does this? It doesn't make you feel good at all. That was really strange and I never stayed in a 5 star hotel that demands payment for drinks as soon as they bring it.We asked for double bed, but they gave us 2 single beds, so we went to reception and they said they can put a king size mattress over it which we said that's absolutely fine, but they actually put 3 sheets over them and the beds kept slipping and separating through the night. The checkout is 12pm, but the cleaning lady tried to barge in at 10am to clean the room, but we told her that we are not ready yet and 11:30am we were doing things what adults sometimes do in bed and she tried to barge in again because we didn't open the door for her, so we had to yell NOOOOOOOO!!! we were both naked....

The design and overall luxury of the hotel is beyond stunning! The pool areas, breakfast buffet, rooms, the incredible decor, even the scent, everything was perfect

Not much. Areas for improvement would be the pool bar food menu and speed and friendliness of staff. It would also be good to have an at sun lounger drinks delivery service via the app, as seen in other hotels, as some pool areas are quite an inconvenient distance to the nearest pool bar.

Great design, great attention to detail.Lots of fun activities to do at the hotel.

Some indoor areas didn’t have enough lighting.Some of the amenities were not working (pool tables were broken).

+ The architecture of the hotel is very stylish+ Pools are big and the water temperature was nice+ Rooms were spacious, clean and tidy+ Staff members were engaging+ open buffet was good. Also having the option fpr eating in pther hotels of the group was a nice benefit

- No coffee machines in the room- Gym and the spa is extra

Beautiful hotel. Very big and took a couple of days to figure out the layout. We had breakfast every morning, it was ok. Very busy in the restaurant. Room was excellent, very spacious with a nice big balcony. Comfy beds. Separate w/c, shower room, which we thought was a great layout. Only about 5 mins walk to beachfront, lovely walk, very safe. Nice bars, restaurants all along the front. All in all, we were delighted with a few relaxing days in January
