Very spacious room with lots of storage space and lovely balcony, nice outdoor area for breakfast, breakfast option available also on very early check out day. Pool towels ready in the room.

Two treadmills of the 3 were not working and gym was busy.

Great location, lovely hotel with an excellent buffet.Water pressure in the shower was really weak, for a luxury hotel, I needed more, as I couldn't enjoy a single shower. For that reason, I wouldn't return.

The room was spacious, nice view from the balcony. Good and quiet location. Free snacks and Cava in the lobby.

Water in the swimming pool was cold. We could not find information about telephonenumbers to the reception and room service. We were always asked to use the Hotel App which was not convenient. It was difficult to find information.We asked about the evening entertainment programme and the receptionist asked us to check the App, but the information was not there. Also the lunch in the restaurant was too salty and we did not get any good responce of our feedback.

Breakfast was good. Evening meal - buffet was terrible. Went only once and staff in evening were poor but the breakfast staff were good.

High price for poor service. Can stay for same price in top hotel in Dubai where the customer service is exceptional. Customer service at hotel needs work.

Amazing breakfast selection

The evening meal had very limited vegetarian selections. Its great for meat and fish eaters, but for those fussier eaters that prefer a selection of vegetarian dishes - the food choices were very limited.

Great amenities, very clean and quiet! Staff were lovely and breakfast had a good selection. Went for a long weekend and was perfect for that. Comfortable beds. Would recommend!

It’s very quiet, not really a bad thing but if you’re looking for more energy/vibes, may not be the place for you. Would have liked a little more ‘life’ if I was staying for longer than a long weekend.

Loved the stay from the start to the end. The staff is very friendly and professional from the receptionists, to the restaurant staff, the cooks and the cleaning ladies. We felt really welcome at our stay. :)The rooms were spacious and clean. The cleaning ladies even folded the towels into different forms on some days, which was a really cute surprise. ❤️ The beds were amazingly comfortable, there were 3 pillows for each bed, so we slept like babies.The food was very tasty with some variations every day. The fresh squeezed juice was also very nice touch. Royal level guests can use both restaurants in the hotel. There is a possibility for early breakfast. :) IMPORTANT: download their app as reservation for meals is required. The drinks are not free for dinner if you don’t have all inclusive package. You can also order a lot of other stuff on the app. :) The hotel area is also very nice, kept after and clean. The pool is nice, the lifeguards make sure that there are no early “reservations” of the poolside beds, which is nice. ?

Barcelo again made my trip unforgettable. I really like everything… the room is spacious and very comfortable with a huge balcony with sun-beds. Tasty breakfast served outside near the pool. Pool area very well organized calm and relaxing… all the employees highly professional kind and willing to support. Thank you and I will continue booking Barcelo hotels for sure

I enjoyed the breakfast very much. the breakfast was really nice! The hotel was renovated last year, I like the new interiors. The Stuffs are friendly.

The Cleaning lady didn't clean the coffee mugs well everyday. There are still coffee stain on the mug everyday during my 6 days stay. Or she could just replace with fresh ones.

Soundproofing was not good, we could well hear sounds from the next rooms and the corridor. Bad smell and no ventilation in the bathroom.

Unfortunately our suite had the shower leaking water all around the bathroom and the details were low profile ones in comparison with the photos. The restaurant and the service were absolutely not good … I will suggest not to take half board… in the restaurant both at breakfast and at dinner none of the service could tell us which were the plates of the buffet … nothing written for allergies or vegetarian …..

All in all a good hotel with very efficient staff. Many thanks to Marta at the reception and Luisa in the pool service area. The breakfast is good, you can order the coffee and tea that you like and there is also a choice of toasts that can be ordered in addition to the "standard" buffet. I didn´t use it, but the hotel offers a shuttle bus to the beach.

In the room there is a flyer that invites the guests to have a "responsible stay" in the sense of e. g. saving water - which is a valuable ressource in the Canary Islands. I stayed almost two weeks - and every day all my used towels have been changed, although they were hang up. I reported this to one of the recepctionists after two days and he noted my issue. All the same, my towels have been changed every day, although I had not thrown them on the floor. How can a guest act responsibly in view of the environment if the room staff does not live this principle?

The area around the pool was very presented, the gardens were immaculate, maintenance staff were out every day making sure it was very pleasing on the eye.

The room was very dated and worse, dirty, the shower area was disgraceful, we complained when we arrived, they did say that they would send someone up straight away, when we returned nothing had been done, we complained a further three times, about the cleanliness, and the electrics, and still no improvement, I took pictures to show the reception staff, they did put the electroc socket back on the wall but failed to check if it actually worked, it didnt, eventually we received a call from a customer relations Manager assuring us everything would be sorted, we return to the room to find glass on the floor, a previously free gift of water had been smashed, but not cleaned up properly, I had the customer relations manager up to the room, who apologised, and even said that the clean lady's manager had checked the room, and there lies the problem, if the manager couldn't see the glass, then the cleaning operative is being managed by a person who shows no consideration to detail.The Customer Relations Manager said that by way of compensation for all our hassle she would organise us some discount of the bar bill.The socket for the hairdryer remained working only intermittently, but I'd past caring at this stage, the discount was never introduced to the charge when we checked out, again, when a Customer Relations Manager, promises to arrange a discount, a discount I never asked for, but then does nothing about it, then this says it all.I didn't raise the discount when checking out, I didnt want a discount in the first place, at nearly £300.00 per night, I just wanted it right with no hassle, I accept nothing is perfect all the time, but when things are so badly wrong, I do expect someone to react to the problems and address them immediately.I can see that there are lots of positive reviews, and as rule I don't ordinarily complain, but this just wasn't right.

Property is lovely

This was my 5th stay, the all inclusive package now is buffet for lunch …. Which is a massive drop in quality over the previous years. We won’t be booking this property for next year

Nothing!

The room and balcony were large, well equipped and comfortable. The hotel and grounds are well maintained and there are plenty of facilities. The pool is large enough to swim - not the case with many hotels - and the beds around the pool were great. The yoga session was good.

The food was poor. One of us is vegetarian and the options were extremely limited. The kitchen was good enough to offer vegetarian options but it was necessary to wait for the food to be prepared, whereas everyone else had food from the buffet. Many of the options laid out in the buffet had meat in them but could have been presented separately (eg salami and cheese on the same platter; they could have been side-by-side). The buffet range was limited and there was little variation over the course of the week. Service in the restaurant was generally quite slow with the exception of one or two members of staff. The fan in the gym did not work so it was roasting hot in there.
