- It's our second time when we went there. First time was on a summer (2 weeks) and now for Christmas.(1 week ) Everything was clean like always, staff is very nice and always help you if you need something. For Christmas they had a nice Gala, with other food than normal, with nice decor, everything was perfect and felt like a fancy restaurant.
- The hotel was good value for the price. The all-inclusive was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room had great ocean view and the sunsets were stunning. The pools, as well as the pool bars, were also very nice. Since we had to leave the hotel early on the day of check-out, we booked an early breakfast the day before, which was varied enough for that purpose. There is a noticeable touch of age throughout the hotel, so a future renovation would certainly elevate the guest expirience. Would we return to this hotel again? Probably yes! It left a good impression.
Cons -
- White towels looked very old
- Unfortunately, I think Chefs from the kitchen, that were in summer there, now were in holidays, because the food was not so diverse anymore. Was good, but not like the first time, when in 2 weeks, at lunch and dinner was ALWAYS something else cooked every single day. Now we had kind of same food every day. (Also tasty)
- We were on the top floor, which is great considering the excellent ocean view from the room, but since the hotel is built on a cliff, you have to change 3 elevators to get to top floor. Since at least one of the elevators wasn't working during our stay, it can be a bit challenging if you're traveling with a lot of luggage or aren't in good shape. Wi-Fi was not available on our floor. We didn't need it, since we use the internet on our phones, but for those who do need it, they should keep that in mind. The hotel parking doesn't have many spaces, and free parking is a bit further from the hotel (400-500m), so take that into consideration if it matters to you.

We won’t be back
I’ve stayed in resorts all around the world and I have NEVER seen this level of disrespect and rudeness from staff. Every corner we turned, we were getting “in trouble” for something different. I’m truly appalled by the way we were treated. The resort is incredibly run down, the phones are not functional in our room, our door knob fell off our door on multiple occasions and the safety concerns are a liability. We have approached the staff numerous times about our stay and were turned away. The “free parking” is only free if one of the 15 parking spots are available and if not, you either have to walk a KM up a steep cliff to park your car or pay 20€ per night for one of the 6 spots of underground parking. We will NOT be back.
The view was amazing, food was excellent. The staff was super helpful and nice when we asked them to fix a good room for my aunt with mobility issue (way too many stairs to reach some rooms).
The elevators are often broken so if you are in a higher room you might need to climb a lot of stairs.
Great meals, very pleasant and helpful staff.
Taurito feels a bit cut off from the rest of the nearby places if you plan to travel with public transportation or taxi
The hotel has beautiful pools with an outstanding view of the sea. The food was really good with plenty of choices including meat, chicken and sea foods. Check-in was smooth; even though we arrived earlier than the official time, our room was ready and we could enter without waiting. The bar tenders were friendly and helpful.
The location is quite far from the airport and city center, and without a car it is hard to access. Parking is not guaranteed – one day I had to wait a long time for a spot, and the nearest alternative parking lot is very far. The beach is not directly attached to the hotel, requiring about a ten-minute walk or a bus ride. The hotel was very crowded, and while the staff tried to manage the rush, some of them seemed tired and at times rude. If your room is close to the lifts, the noise from the elevators and people passing by can be disturbing. The guard at the main pool was particularly rude and acted in a racist manner by questioning us in an offensive way to collect our plastic glasses where all others left their glasses in same way because we were speaking in a foreign language.
The hotel is large, consisting of several buildings. It is located at a fairly high altitude. You can get to the beach by organized bus at a certain time. The food was varied, fresh and very tasty. I have great praise and respect for the waiters who do their job excellently. The room is large enough, the balcony with a view of the ocean is perfect. Every morning the rooms are cleaned and new towels are provided. The staff is friendly.
What I didn't like is if you miss the bus back to the hotel from the beach, you have to walk up a large hill, which is very tiring after a day spent on the beach. Another negative thing is the many stairs. We had a room at the very top of the hotel and during our stay the elevators were broken and it was very tiring to climb so many stairs. If you have noisy neighbors, then forget about peace, the walls are thin. There is no set list for evening out or shopping - you need to order a taxi.
The views from our room were awesome. Food is good. Staff is very friendly. To move around the hotel you need to use stairs all the time, as the hotel is built on a cliff but with all the meals, snacks and drinks i liked using the stairs. Room was big and the bed was huge and very comfortable. AC worked properly and all very clean. Beach is within a 20 min walk. We never took the bus, we enjoyed the walk.We rented a car and always were lucky to find the last spot in the free parking of the hotel. But if you dont find a parking spot, just park down the hill, there is a huge free parking space (10 min walk uphill to the hotel)In the overall it was worth for what I paid for. Happy with my stay.
All drinks except the beer. Breakfast juice was not natural and tasted like the cheapest brand. Coffee and cocktails were machine made and tasted VERY sugary. I had to stick with milk for breakfast and beer / water for the rest of the day. I would recommend to calibrate your coffee / cocktails machines or try other ingridient brands, cause the taste of sugar was too much.
The staff are beyond excellent. The hotel is absolutely spotless., everyone is very attentive. The restaurant and snack bar are just amazing - spotless., they have everything., you’d be hard pushed to find fault.
Sadly it would be the disrepair of the tiled floor, all over the hotel - cracked and loose tiles. The bedrooms are spotless a little bit dated now, but comfortable and spacious.
The location was great. Although the road to Mogan is blocked due to the chance of rock slides..which means you have to get into the highway and drive for 30 minutes to reach the picturesque town. The staff were amazing.
Some of the elevators do not work so you have to climb stairs, which would be okay without luggage. The resort is a bit old and the rooms should be renovated.
The view was incredible. I had never seen anything like it. The food was great.
The staff and guests didn't want us there. Only two staff members gave my husband and me help and made us feel welcome. His name is miguel.and Sonia. They were the only two.. BTW, my husband and I are Black American and the only black people that were there. We spent 9 days there and never changed our bed sheets. My refrigerator wasn't working, so I asked if it could be changed because I had medication that had to stay cold. They said no, and for me to bring my medication to them, and they would hold it. These people are out of their minds. I have gotten sick, and my husband was bringing me food out of the dining room. They told him he couldn't leave with any food. So he had to go buy me food from another restaurant. So we basically flew 10 hours to get treated like trash. Black American beware, please don't stay there. You will be mistreated and fearful for your safety.
Beautiful location, amazing views, great all-inclusive service, helpful staff.
Nice sea views, heated pools, good food options, friendly staff, nice shows every evening, very clean
A lot of stairs and the lifts are not always working; very few parking places so sometimes obliged to park 1 km away from the hotel
The room was a little dated and obvious water damage in the bathroom. However, the staff were wonderful and no trouble with our stay.
Hotel needs renovation, but other than that everything was great, good food, friendly staff etc
Location
Old , need renovation , a bit overpriced for what is offered.
The professionalism of the staff working at the restaurant really impressed us. They were so hardworking and always smiling to the guests. The animation team was also fantastic! They definitely were a big part of our stay and positive view of the hotel.
The food was poor not 4* The rooms basic The towels were like a dish cloth so poor. The entertainment was bad I think they thought we were children we are English and most of time they did not speak English.
The room was very clean and comfortable and the views from the balcony incredible . The food choice was excellent and evening entertainment fun and varied
Food often ran out very quickly at meal times so a lot of waiting around . The drinks choice wasn’t great on the all inclusive I felt there could have been more available
