Brit Hotel Mâcon Centre Gare

Sometimes, the staff don’t seem to care much about the issues you raise

Too expensive for the value providedThey explained that on Sunday evening all restaurants are closed, so we stayed and ate whatever they had; the day after we learnt otherwise.

With parking lots but door broken can’t be shuttled.

Very basic room and cold, timed heating not warm up after whole night.

Great breakfast, convenient parking, good location

No kettle in the room

Staff very welcoming and helpfulExcellent breakfast with good varietyWould value having Room Service phone number written somewhere in the room.

With window open (needed for fresh air which is what I'm used to) was bit noisy at night - traffic, trains - but for convenience of being near the staion was ok

Easy check in, convenient location, parking nearby

We have stayed a few times, and it is convenient to get to The room was clean and a good size, Location is a few minutes' walk from the river and some good restaurants nearby. Recommend Brasserie d'Accademie. Parking is secure, but a 2 minute walk away.

Breakfast is very, very overpriced at €13.50 pp including childrem and is very basic. Similar to Ibis Express, which is about half the price. I am sure it has gone up significantly since our last visit. Given it was €54 for the for of us, I will be looking at alternatives next time.

Clean, convenient and really friendly staff

We loved the family room. Really great. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

The room was a little hot and the Aircon didn't make it colder.

Passable

The room under the roof is much too low and without a helmet very risky.I have seen a lot of "loft type of rooms" and living in the Netherlands gives me a good understanding of small houses and rooms under the roof, but such a room with several beams to hit, I have never seen before.

Location good and staff good.

Too expensive for what it offers. Bad smell in the room.

Disappointing

No coffee or tea or bottle of water in the room.. at night I got one tea; had to pay 4 euro for a simple tea

Everything good. Clean rooms, friendly staff and secure parking.

Everything good about this place. No complaints at all. Good for bikers because of the secure parking.

great welcome. very efficient and helpful staff. the room was excellent. the breakfast was perfect. I particulate, all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. we felt very comfortable and relaxed during our stay.

not being able to park at the front entrance to arrange parking

location and quiet.

the parking address different from hotel, but go to reception first and they advise on access.

Comfortable and quiet rooms, nice breakfast and good location. Staff were very helpful and professional.

Nothing it was flawless

Handy for the station; great welcome from friendly staff; ample breakfast with good coffee; great shower; quiet room; all round a fantastic hotel for a few days, work or pleasure.

High standard bedrooms and bathroom and excellent cleanliness.

no tea/coffee in bedrooms

Close to the train station and walking distance to the old town.

Personell did not care. Not supportive.

Nice hotel. Clean room and facilities

Did not reserve parking as I requested via Booking.Com so had to park in street and empty car completely.

We liked everything - the reception staff were very helpful and kind.

The breakfast was a little bit pricey.
