Pros +
- The hotel was clean and the facilities were good but the synopsis was a bit misleading 2,953 feet from the centre!! who lists anything in feet these days.
- The hotel room was perfect for the family. Not luxurious but large enough. Facilities are quite recent and on the modern side. Staff was mixed, some very friendly, some just agreeable, but altogether a good feeling from it.
- Nice, big modern room, with excellent shower. Hotel is well placed, with a 15 minute flat walk taking you into the centre of the town / riverside. All staff friendly and helpful. Superb breakfast facility.
Cons -
- I was confused by this and want to point it out to other travellers.I have limited walking abilities and thought I was booking a hotel within a short distance of the town centre, in fact we had to get a cab into the centre and walk back late at night which nearly killed me! It was over a mile!So please be aware if you are like me and have limited walking it is too far out of town.
- The restaurant. We chose this hotel because of the pool, the mini golf and the buffet restaurant. We couldn't enjoy the first two due to endless rain (hardly the hotel's fault), so we had all our hopes on the restaurant to compensate. Menu price was decent (less than 20 euros for all you can eat cold and hot dishes, and desserts).Unfortunately, this comes at a price. Food was at best bland, with a big exception for the French fries, which were exceptionally good! Don't get me wrong, nothing was spoiled or anything, just amazingly tasteless. It must be said that this hotel can host hundreds of people, and there are tourist cars dropping by for dinner. So the point is to get food that doesn't disgust anyone, which in the end pleases no one... Being at 1 hour from Lyon, the culinary capital of France, really makes it all the worst to swallow. Also, the hotel itself looks like a hospital from the outside, (not inside, no worries there) and the area is just depressing, tall gray buildings all around.
- Hotel was undergoing major renovation so probably didn't see it in its best light. Buffet Meal at night was good value overall, but was advertised as child friendly which was maybe a bit of a stretch.

Good clean rooms, good food, weak on wifi and parking.
Wi-Fi in my room was weak. Video kept buffering and was unwatchable. Also parking space is very tight.
Clean comfortable room. Helpful staff. Quiet.
Bed was very small and short. Corner shower messy and unpleasant. No heat on very cold night.
Big room. Family room. Dark at night because of roller shutter. Parking space.
Airco was noisy to keep on during night.
Very clean and comfortable, very nice size and excellent bathroom

Dates but good value. Got the basics right: in room aircon and nice shower.
Easy parking and clean rooms with air con
Nothing it was great.
Easy to find hotel, spacious parking, room was clean, lots of natural light , AC, shower /toilet room clean, good pressure of water. Drinking tab water. Don't like very puffy pillows.
Restaurant, bar is outdated. Though I ate well.Breakfast zone wasn't pleasant, poor choice, bad presentation and the clean level 4/10.
Good for a no-nonsense stop over with a restaurant attached and practical rooms fairly central.
The hotel facilities are excellent. We used the pool, and restaurant both of which were very good. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.
Could not fault it.
We loved the swimming pool. It was a perfect place to break our journey.Very friendly and helpful staff. We'll come back next year.
Easy check-in process. Friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. Comfortable family room
The staff were very friendly, the price quality was excellent, the swimming pool was clean and the buffet dinner which is extra was very nice and great value for money
The price
Good parking, modern, clean. Comfy bed. Didn’t see swimming pool but nice to know. Good breakfast.
Unintentional wet room. Sticky breakfast room floor!
The beds were comfortable.
The hotel needs money spent on it, from the pot holes in the carpark, to the bathroom suite that is dated. The swimming pool was closed. Certainly not worth the money spent on staying there for the night.
clean, basic, good standard, friendly
trouble finding it.
Nice rooms and breakfast.
Parking restricted by popularity of place.Walking into Town as advertised not an option - 35 minutes minimum but ample parking for restaurants and bars on the Quai Lamartine and certainly worth the effort
The breakfast was nice. Freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit and coffee biscuits spreads and breads.
Something warm for breakfast. Eggs, bacon or sausage.
