Mercure Mâcon Bord de Saone

Very nice breakfast. Cosy bar. Clean rooms, although the carpet seemed a bit worn. But as mentioned everywhere, the hotel is having renovation works done. The pool looked nice to take a swim after the long drive, but we were a bit late to enjoy it.

Hotel was further off the motorway than i expected, i should have studied map a little more!! There is a nice restaurant overlooking the river. Nice menu unfortunately i had to send my fish back as undercooked but apart from that a lovely meal. Breakfast was very nice. If i want to visit Macon again i will definitely stay here.

Great location next to the River. Easy to reach / find at least when approaching from the South. Lots of parking. Decent restaurant which was open on Saturday night. Very large comfortable bed.

The lift is very small. No problems, great over night stop.

No where near as good as previous Mercure (Troyes) that I had stayed in. Unpleasant air freshener smell in reception area. Soulless dining room with dreadful canned music and peculiar flashing blue table lamps. Poor breakfast choices (undercooked bacon). Small room.

Many little things wrong in roomCorridors could do with redecoration15 years ago when I travelled Europe on business, Mercury was one of my go to hotels, standards seem to have dropped considerably

Room; Airconditioning was not working and appeared dirty, bed is worn and could do with replacement. The room is also small.Breakfast was adequate.Hotel in general could do with major renovation, its ambiance is outdated, unattractive and worn places.

Room was a little small, and why only 1 chair in a 2 person room?

Well located and a great location for an overnight stay on our way to Southwest France. Room clean and spacious. everything generally ok and both food and rink good and reasonably priced. .

One member of staff was very rude to us albeitthiswas an exception and all others were very helpful. Breakfast room a little chaotic.

Great location for visiting Macon orfor justing walking along the river. Nice large beds. Very friendly staff. Food was excellent. On the hot day of our arrival the air conditioning worked very well. Nice terrace for relaxation.

Rooms are slightly small but no problem for an overnight stop. Would not stop me using the hotel again.

The room was comfortable. Breakfast was good value L:ocation very good on the banks of the Soane river convenient for walking the dog

Convenient from the highway, and it's also walking distance to the Macon town. plus, there is parking in its property.
