    Pros +

    • Room, breakfast and location - all good.
    • Friendly staff, easy to find, very good breakfast
    • Location was good for the centre of the city, it has onsite parking, nice overlook of the river. the staff were exceptionally helpful, taking our bags to the room, recommending restaurants and offering to make reservations for us.The hotel has different outdoor seating areas and a lounge / bar area downstairs. The rooms were really nice and we liked the decor.

    Cons -

    • Parking. Had to park outside front of hotel. Would prefer to have parked inside but was not aware this was available.
    • The room was a bit dark.
    • Nothing to dislike.

The staff, the decoration, the cleanliness, the calm, the size of the room and the kettle, the nice breakfast with a broad choice and quality products.

The car park too tight, the view (a bit dark)

The staff is incredible and the property was very charming and well layout all around. It’s 10 minutes from the city centre which made it very easy to stroll around.

The location is on a Main Street but not a problem at all.

    The room was ok.

The traffic noise. The very basic offer (charcuterie et fromage. la planche) which was quite expensive but was so disappointing especially on a 1st January. No sense of occasion at all. Not enough staff. Not enough experience. management cutting down on quality and quantity in their offer. We won't come back.

Excellent location, lovely staff and a good breakfast. Very good garage with easy access and electric charging.

One tiny little thing, no milk in the bedroom to go with our tea. I’m sure if I’d asked for it they would have obliged.

A very comfortable and warm hotel, the staff very friendly and helpful to me and I really enjoyed my stay. The location facilities were very well maintained, clean and well thought out. I enjoyed a great breakfast on the day of my departure. Thank you.

Great spot on the river. Old fashioned hotel with modern touches. The staff were very helpfully organising taxis etc. would highly recommend.

    9MichaelPosted on: 1-6-2025

Great location for access to the town centre. Exceptionally clean throughout, the bedroom and bathroom in particular were spotless. The staff were super friendly and helpful and we really liked the feel of the hotel and some of the historic photos in the lift and dotted around. Secure parking is an additional benefit, remember to book in advance. Very welcoming for our Cocker Spaniel too.

Lovely hotel. Very comfy bed. Nice decor. Super helpful staff. Highly recommended!

    Nothing. It was spot on

    9StefanPosted on: 12-26-2024

The breakfast was really good, the room was quiet, the guests were very friendly and helpful.

Some facilities might need a bit of refresh

    8CaroleePosted on: 12-22-2024

The hotel okay, considering the other Macon choices. Decor okay, bed okay, staff helpful. On site parking was good.

Somewhat sad and lacking in charm. Macon lacks very good choices and this was not worth the money as the hotel was nearly empty and we weren't given a riverview. Nothing much near-by in the way of restaurants. Okay for an over-night stay only.

    5MarcoPosted on: 12-15-2024

Bed was comfortable and shower good. Kettle, tea and coffee available in the room.

Room was a bit cold (December and 2*C outside) and dark.

    8ElsPosted on: 12-9-2024

Very good breakfast and good location. Safe parking in closed inner court.

Rooms are quite small but adequate

    7AnnePosted on: 11-4-2024

Location was fine for us as we were just travelling through. The room was quite small and was reached through an upstairs courtyard. The room and bathroom were clean and the shower was excellent. The bed was very comfortable. The parking was underground and secure though I noticed that there were relatively few places - maybe at peak times that could prove a problem. We did not have breakfast as we prefer just a coffee and a croissant and this was only available from 6.30-7.30. We did not want to pay 19 euros just for that.

Tired array of tea and coffee in the room. No milk. Many hotels now provide a Nespresso machine or similar which we prefer.

    9FredrikPosted on: 11-3-2024

Very nicely renovated building, big rooms, nice bathrooms and comfy beds. Luxury!

Cost for breakfast was the same for our 4 and 7 year old daughters as for us @20 EUR pp, and then it becomes rather expensive considering our smallest had a pancake and a youplaît yoghurt. Nice breakfast though but a little disappointed that there was only brewed coffee, no espresso machine..

Great one night stay close to town and the lady in reception couldnt be more helpful

    rien

Nice room. Very quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast. Everyone was very friendly.

    10HughPosted on: 10-9-2024

Location by the side of the river was easy to get to and close to the old part of town - the hotel was grander than we expected - the staff directed us to a brilliant restaurant for dinner

    Nothing springs to mind
