ibis Budget Mâcon Sud

Great value for money, clean (and new-ish) rooms, friendly staff, close to the autoroute. Exactly what we needed, we will be using it again as our midway stop between Belgium and Spain!

Checked in late at night as a half way stop on our travels, nice room, helpful staff, good property.

Clearly this property was under renovation. Door numbers were post it notes. No carpet on the stairs bare concrete with glue on. It was only 2 star but this I am pretty sure was not obvious on Booking.Com.It is on an industrial estate. I had top drive into town and nothing was open. The vision you have of Macon is wine and chees and beer by the river. TBH I'll never go there again I got ripped off at the petrol station and now in dispute. If I had not paid on arrival I would have pushed on with my journey. Never again.

Only one towel, small room, small bathroom. The aircon didn’t work in room 3 at all! Too hot!

For the price this was excellent

The friendly reception and service we received at reception Fabiola were exceptional. On our last visit we left our spare car keys in the room. When we arrived at out ultimate destination we rang the hotel who had found our keys and put them in a safe place. Fabiola found them abd was positively pleased to hand them over.The restaurant on site was very nice and the 2 ladies running it were both efficient and friendly. the menu is fairly basic but the food was reasonably priced and very good.Well done all round !

Absolutely foul. Woke up to cigarette smoke coming from airvent, toilet seat split, noisy hotel inside and out. Maid barged in my room while I was still there with 2 hours before check out. Could not wait to get out of the place. There are some better ibis hotels down the road. I would avoid at all costs.

Room was fine . It would have helped to have a grab Handel in bathroom as lm unsteady on my feet and found bathroom floor and shower tray very slippery

Clean comfortable and convenient to the motor way which is a big plus. Basic rooms and big shower tv and hotel nicely freshly decorated in citrus theme
