Novotel Mâcon Nord Autoroute du Soleil

The hotel itself was comfortable and provided a decent stay, but there were some disappointments. The restaurant food was awful and definitely overpriced. Also, the bed sheets had a damp smell that made the room feel less fresh. Overall, the stay was fine, but we will chose another hotel to stay in next time.

Nice staff, outside area with playground with a slide and swings, plus a swimming pool.Restaurant serves good food for the price.

Serving staff in the restaurant, it was busy times for them because of the holiday season but there was no good communication.

Rooms big resturant ok

We were told in the morning of our arrival that the AC wasn't working in the rooms. Called booking.com, and you guys told us that it was too late to cancel.At the reception, they told us that we could have canceled if you had asked the hotel...The room we got was very far from the reception and the restaurant

Clean and functional. Would say comparable to a premier inn in the uk. Breakfast was good but included in my price. Probably wouldn’t say it was worth 18th Roz

Close to motorway exit. One night stay on our way to Cote D'Azur. We ate at the hotel, the food was good, we were happy with our choice. Room and bed comfortable. Free parking at hotel.

Staying on the way back to Calais from Belle Plagne. Great location, friendly staff and good value for money.

Rooms were adequate size for family of four

There were not enough staff to provide service for the number of guests. We waited an hour for our drinks at dinner and two hours for the food. The chicken for my child then came out frozen in the middle. The hotel then tried to charge us for the children’s meals despite them being included in the booking rate which they disputed. The staff who were there were very nice but totally overwhelmed.

Close to motorway so it was convenient.

Rooms very outdated. Walls and doors super thin, I could hear a crying toddler in the middle of the night and I was woken up by people chatting in the hallway with their young kids at 7 am so very bad sleep.

Stop over hotel for journey to/ from alps. Nice welcoming hotel and great food. Very family friendly. Very convenient to route and parking. Also has onsite EV charging and Tesla charger nearby.

Rooms are basic and a little dated but clean and functional.

Room was good size

Breakfast busy and understaffed, couldn't get a table, no mugs, not able to make a tea, no bread to make toast, staff got me bread then found toaster didn't work, no cereal or bowls left, eventually the staff were bringing out extras but I didn't have time to stand around and wait for people to leave to be able to have a table, I went for breakfast before 8am as had to leave by 9am

I enjoyed the comfort and space, for a family of 4 it was perfect spacious.Having kettle was great too.The hand soap and shower gel and shampoo smell amazing I had a lovely bath.Very comfortable bed.I also love that the toilet is in a separate room from the bath and sink.The honey they sell is delicious.It's my second time staying here and I'm sure I'll be back.

They were understaffed for a busy day of the year (Friday night before the start of the second ski week in the Xmas holiday). We had to wait for an hour for a table for dinner with little kids, even though we had phoned to reserve but they said no need to book. Breakfast was already mostly finished by 9am and all the tables dirty so we decided not to have breakfast there.
