ibis Styles Macon Centre

Breakfast was pretty good with a nice variety of pastries and bread and fruit

Another chair in the room would have been nice

An enjoyable stay. Staff were very helpful

Parking a little awkward having to ask for tokens all the time. Having said that it is nice and secure in there which is always reassuring

I loved their commitment to being a more environmentally friendly hotel. It was a super simple hotel that served our needs.

The car parking tokens were a bit of a faff

Easy to find. Central location. Quiet. Comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Air-con

Comfy beds, friendly staff, great location, lovely room, and great to have a pool.

Breakfast wasn't amazing but was fine

Breakfast was good, very near Mâcon centre. Nice view.

The room is very small, with a low ceiling, giving the impression of being even smaller and suffocating.

Good quality rooms, clean, good breakfast

Room was right on main road and lots of road noise during night

Front desk helped us book a restaurant at late notice on Easter weekend. We then realised the kids wouldn't like the food and they were very helpful, finding us another restaurant with no complaints. Really appreciated it.

The parking could have been a little closer or a designate bay to unload luggage. Signage to locate the hotel not great.

Exceptionally helpful check in staff. Great recommendation for dinner, restaurant booked on my behalf. Then rang me to ensure I found restaurant.

Very disappointing customer serve by Ibis Styles Macon

We travel a lot in France by car and try to use Ibis Styles as it is a good product and especially has parking on site.In travelling from Cannes to Calais we chose to stop at Macon and booked the Ibis Styles there. On arrival we found the car park to be a considerable distance from the hotel and it is difficult to drop off at the hotel main entrance. We were not physically able to manage the car park and chose to carry on our journey to Ibis Styles Beaune where we have stayed before. We requested a waiver to the cancellation fee on the grounds that we couldn't use the hotel because of the parking. The hotel does say that parking is possible nearby but that is hidden away so buyer beware. The hotel refused despite an appeal. Very difficulty to recommend them now as clearly little regard is being paid by that hotel to regular users of the brand.

This hotel is in a great location, easy walk into the old town and the river front, Staff helpful and friendly and a reasonable breakfast. The parking is very good and truly secure, but must be booked in advance.

The room was a bit weary, clean and comfortable enough

Very good breakfasts, Great location handy for the station. We had a health crisis whilst we were there and the staff were very helpful and understanding helping us to get to hospital and arranging two extra nights stay.

Quiet and central, breakfast was good, staff was helpful, arrangement for drinking water was environmentally friendly as water can be obtained from a water fountain with reusable bottles provided, also rather than having a kettle in each room, one is available at reception for use by all. Air-conditioning was good and efficient.

room was a little cramped with toilet/shower sliding-door not closing properly, bed was hard. Would benefit from modernisation and updating.

Location, convenient, security for vehicles, breakfast

All good

Friendly staff, great location, nice little pool, secure car park, comfy room and a great breakfast

Nothing to mention

central location

reception looked grubby and dark, not a good first impression, one of the staff didn't speak English, so good job I could communicate with her, the parking was impossible to see as it's opposite the hotel in a busy thoroughfare, in the end the receptionnist had to come with me to point the the turning into a courtyard. our bedroom was not in the main building but in an outhouse with a difficult door to enter the building.

Very limited parking space. You must reserve a spot in advance. Otherwise you have to park in open public parking, which is not desirable when traveling by car with all the luggage.

Excellent location close to station. Very nice breakfast- excellent bread and croissants . Free tea and coffee available 24 hours.

Room rather hot and a very strong smell of air freshener

Friendly staff, very decent breakfast

Room was not clean. Very outdated rooms, not up to the standard of Ibis Styles

Bad

Breakfast was sold out. Rather stupid that the staff was surprised while they know the amount of guests.
