Mnarani Beach Club

The infinity pool is amazing as is the atmosphere of the resort, the beach is stunning with water activities (sailing..) amazing sands and walks on the beach. Great place to stay in Kilifi region. Rooms are not a 5* luxary hotel rooms but the facilities in the resort are legendary, it has a sense of authenticity you want, this is not Spain luxary resort this is just an amazing hotel in Kenyan coast. I appreciated the general quiteness of the hotel due to its smaller size.

no good working desk and could have used a power socket near the bed! but overall I would stay there again without a moments hesitation because of location, views and overall facilities.

The Mnarani Beach club was in a beautiful location at the mouth of the creek. It had fantastic water sports facilities with excellent staff at the beach. The food although took some time to arrive was very good.

The rooms were very dated and old and quite small for the price we paid. The whole resort was a bit tired.

Everything was great. A lot of staff in training, once properly trained, I can see the service level becoming exceptional! Our room was very comfortable, door lock was loose, there were minor things that need fixing but wouldn't deter us from returning to this property. Tabitha- at reception had the most gracious welcoming presence. Duncan in the restaurant went above and beyond to cater to a last minute family gathering of 50! They pulled it off in a night! Everyone was extremely impressed and wished they had stayed there.

Atrociously slow WiFi especially in the garden suites. It was impossible to work out of there!

Mnarani Beach club has a great location and the staff is very friendly. The beds are very comfortable.

The food choices are at its best passable for a hotel of this size and price. All the rooms have cracks in the walls and need to be renovated. The price of the rooms are too high compared to the services they provide. In addition, one would expect the possibility of a cappuccino in a hotel of this size and price.

I was there for a one day meeting, so I had no issues. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The bed was a little firmer than I liked, but that's personal preference.

It’s very convenient in terms of location and water sports activities, bonus is that it’s newly renovated!

* the food was fairly European oriented. The type you would get at any European hotel buffet. However, there were some days food was local and delicious. A new F&B manager has been attracted how wants to develop the local cuisine more. This would help because most want to eat local food but are afraid of possible stomach problems after.More hotel grade, local food is really a great addition.

The feeling of being in Kilifi is unmatched. Mnarani is set looking over the creek and offers a simple yet comfortable experience. The majority of the staff, especially the women are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The restaurant is terrible. They would benefit from reducing their menu and focusing on quality over quality. I got food poisoning from the breakfast on my second last day.Some of the male staff here made my stay so uncomfortable that I actually stopped leaving my room. Every time I went to swim, they would appear and then not leave my side - sitting down on the pool chair next to me. Whilst sitting at breakfast I was constantly asked if I was lonely, if I would like company or if they could show me around - despite being asked to leave me alone they would continue.

Very clean hotel, and the food and drinks where very good, they have a nice cheff

The beach part is not so beautifull as some other hotels in Kenya

The room was very large and had lovely views over the garden. The restaurant/ bar area had an amazing view. Breakfast choice very good. Activities throughout the day should you wish to participate. Free water sports available. Staff very friendly and helpful. Enjoyable morning walk with Lawrence. Safe place, fantastic security at gate.

Only stayed 2 nights and wished it was longer.

The swimming pool is outstanding and really well looked after. Our room overlooking the pool was one of the original ones which we requested, the food was good and all the staff were very friendly, welcoming and very informative

Lovely gardens with good access to the beach. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is beautifully set looking out over the creek.

Our room was tired but I understand they are only halfway through a refit of all the rooms. Tip for 2025, book a garden room, these have been recently refurbished, not a sea view room which have not.

The breakfasts were always a lovely spread of options and all fresh and enjoyable. Dinners were exceptional. Every night a different theme with amazing spread and variety. The staff were 1st class and so friendly and hospitable. Evening entertainment really rounded off each day.

The condition of the pool loungers. The golf putt-putt course. Shortage of pool towels in stages. Creek rooms need some TLC and modernization - looking old and "used"

Not quite enough sunbeds for us to have one by the pool

We booked one single room ocean view and one double garden view and both were beautiful, very comfortable and quiet. The hotel organises a lot of activities, has one main pool and a small one on the garden side, as well as private little beach with bar and snacks. The front desk was so kind and very helpful, especially in our requests for transportation and late checkout. The whole staff was super friendly, helpful and professional actually. Cherry on top, breakfast was delicious.

Lovely view of Kilifi Creek and a great pool. Nice buffet for breakfast. The room was comfortable with a very spacious bathroom, air conditioning and a cot for the baby. Very good mosquito net. Friendly and helpful staff.

The rooms are perhaps a little faded - they will probably need a bit of refreshing soon enough.

Absolutely Amazing!!If you are looking for a piece of paradise… this is it - everything is PERFECT at Mnarani, hence I am a regular guest! The location, accommodation, attentiveness of the wonderful staff, delicious food with lots of choice! The staff go above and beyond to make your stay amazing and relaxing - it really is my favourite destination …. I can’t wait to return.

There is absolutely nothing not to like!

I stayed in the Mzuri Suite which was absolutely amazing. The hotel has excellent views of the sea and wonderful green gardens. The bar and restaurant are also great, with great service and food.
