The Coconut Bar is amazing...easily the best feature in my opinion. Staff was friendly and attentive.

80% of the menu has delicious sounding seafood items. Sadly, this was our second stay in 6 weeks and seafood is not available...what's up with that? Food service is slow (ala carte). Had to cancel an order one day because it just never showed up. I was told the kitchen had a big order...hmmmm.

The property location is amazing, with miles and miles of beach area, walkable sand, safe to walk even late hours or early morning, I enjoyed early morning walks at 6.00am to see the sunrise in a peaceful clean environment. If you are looking for a quite holiday to reenergize and relax, this is the place to be.

The management needs to be more available to the guests. They need to dress to appeal and to stand out. I only got to meet the manager on our last day. Manager should be available as guests check in and out, and at most meals to check on how the guests are doing.Organize more group activities during the festive seasons

The swimming pool was not clean, and the food quality was below expectations with very limited variety. The room lacked basic amenities such as disposable slippers, coffee sachets, and even a bottle of water, which I had to request from reception, and it took quite a while to arrive. I understand it may not be high season, but the level of service provided did not reflect the value for the price paid.

The whole hotel has seen better days and is tired and mismanaged. The main pool was a dark green with brown sludge in the bottom, no one swam in it. The food at breakfast was horrific, a cold buffet with ants walking all over it that was not restocked whilst the rest of the hot buffet left alot to be desired. It would be great if you wanted to starve. The evening food to be fair seemed to be better but very limited options. The majority of staff were very kind and helpful although others were blunt and rude. It's a great location and the bar at the beach was very good with what limited drinks they had due to shortages. Very sad hotel as it could be super. I would be very hesitant to stay again even if it was free

Property age

It was perfectly located close to everything and the beach was so clean. Loved the coconut bar. The hotel staff at the reception are so lovely and kind.

The rooms are a bit old, and I didn’t feel like the pool was clean enough. Food menu is really limited, doesn’t have many options for the buffet.

Was surprised by the vegetarian food they had, actually tasted good! The staff were also friendly. Property has beach access and a floating bar on the beach, which was really fantastic.

I think the breakfast menu needs to be looked into, as it had pretty much the same items everyday. The lighting in the room needs to be improved, it's generally very dark.

The staff were very friendly especially Lennox, the food and beverage manager.

Room had a moudly smell (Room 50)

Kilifi Bay Beach is cozy, beautiful located very comfi hotel. For me the calm atmosphere direct acess to the ocean no crowd arround swimming pool erlouted me to really relax and rest after hard year of work stress

Location- proximity to the beach. Not too from either Mombasa or Malindi airport. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this venue without hesitation.

Very friendly staff. The general manager James always checked and asked if everything was OK. The beach and the sea is so nice. We also enjoyed the quiet environment. A fantastic place to unwind and relax.

Beautiful ocean views, pristine beaches and great value for money. The manager and staff were very friendly and welcoming.

A slow service moment on the first night at dinner but this was quickly resolved by the manager - very on point and hands on so he saved the “day”

location is possibly one of the best in kilifi. The facilities are a bit dated but clean and functional,. the staff makes everything possible to make you feel comfy and well attended.

food could be better, but overall still okay. perhaps more choice in the menu would be an improvement. Also, long waiting time (aprox one hour) to get the food.
