Pros +
- Location is great to explore the historical Dinan. Staff speak English well. Room is clean.
- Great location, comfortable room, hood staff
- Location of the hotel was very good, near by to the car parks and the historic center. And the breakfast was decent.
Cons -
- Internet cost money.
- Hotel room on the 3rs floor needs to be improved, mini fridge was not working and dirty. The room was small and warm (no air condition) and room has a smell of damp, especially near the beds where the night stands are placed. Overall experience was good apart from the room smell and being warm.
- Bad value for money. It did not feel clean. For 250 euro per night we would expect some help with our luggage

Just a one night stay without breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. Ideally located for us in the centre of Dinan. We could walk round this fascinating town and to the old port from the hotel.
Good location, close to parking, friendly staff

The receptionist couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful! He helped us to get parking space for the car, he recommended restaurants and places to visit in Dinan and gave us the type of advice normally given by tourist information staff about other places of interest in the area. The hotel was in an excellent location on the edge of the beautiful old town within 5 minutes walk of a great selection of restaurants. There wasn't any parking available at the hotel, but there was a large public carpark across the road which cost in the range of 2 euros an hour, between 9.00am and 7.00pm. It felt safe to leave the car overnight and we didn’t have any problems in the 4 nights we were there.
The room we had was comfortable with an excellent shower but it had no view, looking out across an alleyway onto a stone wall.We only paid for continental breakfast, but it was disappointing and wasn’t good value for money. It was very limited, with no cereal, fresh fruit, ham or cheese. They were available from the menu but at an extra cost.
Location in the centre of Dinan is great. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Has a lovely garden area. Off-street parking for our motorbikes was handy.
Would like to say this is a good hotel but the lounge and garden area was closed at around 8:30 so had to sit in the lobby/hallway in the evening.
The garden was just amazing and we spent hours in there with drinks brought out to us. The staff were friendly and super helpful. A blissful stay and would go back again.
It would have been nice to be able to make an early morning tea in the bedroom.
location
nothing was available to eat or drink during d day or evening, no one there even stag after 8pm
The location of the hotel is very good, the staff were friendly and the facilities were good. The room was excellent apart from the fact that it was at the front of the hotel and noisy.
I stayed at this hotel many times in the past 25years and had no hesitation in booking it again this time. I was disappointed as the renovations have made it a bit clinical, and the beautiful garden was sadly neglected. We also found car parking a nightmare now and the receptionist didn't know the answers when we arrived as the parking signs in the car park were missing. The weather was very hot and we were disappointed that we were not allowed the use of the cool lounge and garden after 9pm
The location was perfect, central to everything, including the Information office, the castle, the town for sightseeing, shopping and dining. The garden is composed of many sitting areas that stretched out to an overlook of the castle and is a part of the original city walls. The photos on the website don’t do it justice. A variety of trees, plants, and flowers - the perfect place to relax with a beverage.
Make sure you choose the garden rooms because the front rooms hear the traffic, which isn’t awful (it is a small city) but when we were able to move to the back, it was so peaceful, especially hearing birds vs. traffic. The WiFi wasn’t great, but overall, we would highly recommend staying here.
very good location for the old town, built on the old ramparts, lovely private gardens to rear
noisy road on street side, book garden side, room needs updating
Location. Good size of the room. Clean.
Very centrally located, very friendly and helpful staff.
Would have liked a fridge in the room.
Nice room, great staff, lots of space.
It was too noisy to sleep with windows open so the room was a bit stuffy. Pillow was not comfortable but the bed was good.
Did not have breakfast due to early start
Maybe breakfast from 7.30 rather than 8.00am
We stayed one night in a large family room and it was very comfortable and clean. We had a room on the 3rd floor facing the garden and it was very quiet. Woken to the sounds of seagulls and roosters. Could have been in the middle of the countryside rather than the centre of town. Excellent location. Excellent hotel. Excellent staff. Beautiful town. Well worth a visit.
Had to leave early to catch a ferry from St Malo so missed breakfast in the garden, which was a shame. Garden looks delightful.
Large quiet rooms and lovely indoor spaces. The garden in the back ends at the city wall! Also, we had a great breakfast here. Parking across the street or at a free parking lot down the road.
Location on edge of old city with parking options.Unbelievable garden overlooking city ramparts.Owner kindly helped with complexities of parking meters (French only)!
Excellent location, Emmanuelle was very helpful with dinner reservations! Highly recommend. Convenient parking across the street.
