Anna at the reception desk was most helpful and provided very useful information on going places in the city and its environs. She also helped us solve a practical problem critical to the use of our electronic devices. Merci beaucoup to Anna.

The choice of food for breakfast could be widened and more hot food in the winter season would be most appreciated.

Great location near the train station. Beds were very comfy. Room was quiet and spacious. Breakfast was good. There are some little restaurants and shops very close to the hotel too.

Although close to the train station, it's a 15-18 minute walk to the main attraction. Towel heater did not work, and despite asking for someone to look at it, no one came. We ended up taking some wet socks to our next location.

A distance of 2 km from the old town but chosen as secure parking was available.

The room is well furnished. The hotel is in a good location. The staff were pleasant.

The room was cold and the heating thermostat had been limited to a temperature we found uncomfortable. It could be lowered but not raised. The duvet is too thin for a cold room so we had to sleep in warm clothing and spread our coats over the bed for warmth. Electric sockets have no phone charging outlets. Not much space around the bed and the sliding door to the bathroom should be fitted with a damper to stop it closing with a bang. The house telephone takes up too much space on the bedside shelf. Checking in took too long in spite of our having used the online check-in facility

Does in general not meet my expectations on a 4 star hotel, walking way to intra muros is rather unattractive (unless you you take the detour along the seaside promenade), had the impression of a certain smell in the room, no shower (only tub)

Friendly staff, Frank was a great night manager and a credit to you. Beds were comfy and room comfortable, parking safe and convenient.

This is a very comfortable and clean hotel. It is opposite thè train station and about a fifteen minute walk from the old city. There are several good restaurants nearby and buses which go to the port. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful and kind.. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Also had tea and coffee facilities which was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has good underground secure parking.

We would not class this as a 4 star hotel. As for value for money we stayed in much better hotels for less cost on our travels through France and Spain. We opted not to have breakfast at 18 euros a head, significantly more than anywhere we stayed. Then we had to pay 15 Euros a day for parking. Finally we avoided the bar as a small (around 100ml) glass of average wine was 9 euros. We paid half that at a nearby hotel that did have a restaurant. Certainly would not come back to this hotel.
