The place was ready to find and was very clean

There is an odd smell coming from the bathroom even though it’s very clean.

The location is great and the staff are very helpful.

The room is a bit small.

The hotel is ideal for a couple of nights in the heart of the city, with an excellent location. We stayed in Room 2, which has a balcony with a great view, making it a pleasant experience. The staff were also very helpful.

The only issue was the room's cleanliness, which bothered us. We stayed for four nights, but the room was cleaned only once. Even then, the bathroom and floor remained uncleaned.

The location was super convenient, being very close to the old city and the train station as well as the beach. The area was fairly quiet at night too for sleeping. The convenience of the coded doors was very much appreciated too.

The room was very hot most of the time with only a window to the roundabout being the salvation. There was no safe in the room either which wasn't a problem as we could carry everything at the time

Basic plain barebones room. Clean. Spartan Reasonably quiet. Close to the train station and a number of restaurantsIt worked out ok but I prefer a hotel with a reception desk.

The tiny wastebasket in the bathroom. The only one in the unit. The lack of bathroom counter space.

I didn’t enjoy it…

1. The noise level was very disturbing. I could clearly hear the toilet flushing from the neighboring room, and on both days, I was woken up precisely at 8 a.m. by the sound of passing cars. It became overwhelming. Unfortunately, it was impossible to sleep properly in the morning.2. I also received an excessive number of messages and emails from the hotel, which I found both confusing and disruptive. As I am on vacation, I would prefer not to be disturbed by non-essential communications. Furthermore, even after completing the payment, I was still asked to provide my bank details, which I find unnecessary and difficult to understand.

The hotel is on a great location near the train and bus stations.We Cleaning girl was super friendly and very helpful.Cant remember her name but she said she was from Russia.

Convenient location

There was no one site to help us with necessities when needed. There was no daily change of towels on saturday

The hotel is near the train station and there are a few nice places where to eat just around the corner. If you're lucky and get a good room, it is actually a pleasant stay.

Some walls are damaged. There's an unpleasant smell in the common areas, probably coming from the moquette. The first room we got had even mould in the sleeping room and the toilet. We complained, got a partial refund, and changed room. The other room was actually way cleaner.

The proximity to the train station.

The hotel was hard to find at night as its not signposted very well, the taxi driver couldn’t find it. Some of the furnishings could do with updating but overall the hotel suited our needs for one night.

Central position-10’ walk to intra muros, very clean, easy parking, best value/money

It was cold, and there was no heater at all. There is no reception, they send a code to enter the room.

Good location. Contact with me was excellent. Messaged and called me to ensure I understood access system and provided additional transport information I asked for.

Very clean and very warm and comfortable. The addition of a kettle was very welcome.

Entrance foyer let it down a bit

The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Location is great, near the train station.The room was exactly like the pictures. Very satisfied with my stay.

I had a very happy stay at the Brittanic! The check-in was very easy, and the staff were readily reachable by phone, and very accommodating when I asked about checking in a little early and leaving a little late. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and located close to the train station, as well as various food options. A very good stay, and a place I'll return to if I find myself back in Saint Malo

Great location. 4 min walk from train station and stops for buses. 15 min walk from Intra muros part of the city. A few places to eat nearby. Place was clean. There was a kettle. There is no reception, but administration responded quickly when I had a query before booking.

Chosen as arriving late by train with bikes and close to the railway station. We only needed a clean room and bed for the night.The hotel is not scored very highly on booking.com and we were very pleasantly surprised at how clean it is and the shower/bathroom facilities. Both were much better than we expected and can't be faulted. The staff who phoned us to tell us that we had not completed all payment steps (we thought we had) was most helpful and understanding.She also advised us that there was nowhere to leave our bikes (we had hoped that there was) but that we could leave them in bike storage at the railway station, just over the road.We would happily return for a short stay.

We would have liked to have kept our bikes safely at the hotel but the lady was clear that this was not possible and that this was clearly informed to booking.com and the property details on the website. As said, she helpfully suggested a convenient alternative.

It's 5min away from the train station and 10min away from intra muros and the beach. There are restaurants around, supermarket, boulangerie.

Bed was good to sleep, hall was good designed. Hot water kettle was in room to make coffee.

The price was over charged as compared to the room size or service, No turndown service was available. If you go without towels then you have to use their towels same ones until you check out. I had one special request to put one cake in the room ( I was ready to pay but they did not do it) Once I asked for a paper cups it took 1 hour to one staff to bring but until , I went down and bought by myself already. The staff which came I felt was little rude. If you just want to go and sleep then it would a good hotel. But in such same prices you can stay in the center of city as well. They do not have fridge .Water was leaking on the floor when you take shower. If they say breakfast is payable but actually they do not do breakfast service anymore. So overall was just like a hostel feeling.
