Brit Hotel Saint Malo Le Transat

Did not have breakfast. Good location for ferry with easy parking.The young woman on reception/bar/waitress in restaurant was exceptional, but seriously overworked.

The set menu for €19.50 was good value. However, the. Steak dish was served cold, when returned had been microwaved, rendering the steak almost inedible . The chips that came with it were all the remains and thin and burnt. The green salad did not survive the trip to the microwave and disappeared from the dish completely. The waitress dealt with the. whole situation in a very professional manner. The so-called chef is a disgrace.

Great location. Large room with balcony. Staff friendly. Clean. Had a bath.

Comfortable bed, a bath and close proximity to the Ferry Terminal

No tea or coffee making facilities - we could buy a drink from the bar but we like to be able to have a cup of tea/coffee in our room

Good value hotel, short walk to the mall which has a couple of bars and a Carrefour.

The shower didnt function well, the water didnt run out of the bath, the plug was damaged not letting the water out...and this was truly unpleasant. It´s an obvious fault which has certainly been there for sometime and should have been corrected, very disappointing.

Need total refurbishment, towels need to be replaced, no plug in sink, dead insects on carpet , to be care we did complain and we changed rooms, not much better, won’t be staying again. No food available other than breakfast.

I had a problem with downloading a SIM card for my phone.The lady on reception who’s name sadly I didn’t find out went to great lengths to help.Thank you so much.

Nice room, good breakfast, convenient location for the ferry.

We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant was not open the days we were there, so we had to go out to eat, which was not ideal.

Easy to find, good parking, nice room, clean and tidy, and warm. strange with toilet separate from bathroom, haven’t seen that config so far. Breakfast ok. Extended checkout to 3:30 thank you.

Wasn’t much really, shower needs a nonslip mat or rails, generally a bit tired looking. Food ok but could be better.

Great location off major roundabout, simple to find. Good car parking. Efficient and helpful checkin. Decent room (410). Excellent breakfast with good coffee. Very pleasant checkout.

Couldn't adjust the room temperature that was a bit chilly. Not a big problem.

Staff were friendly and accommodating when I asked for a late checkout. It was in a great location for the Brittany Ferries terminal. We visited the fabulous Park de la Briantias for a lovely walk just 5 mins drive from the hotel, which my dog appreciated after being in the car for days.

The food was basic with little choice for a pescatarian with food allergies. I tried to explain that I couldn't eat certain food, but the waitress who was extremely friendly and super busy didn't understand.The room was tired, and although I had booked a superior room, it was small and needed a little tlc.

Clean, quiet and great location

One night stay. Room was quiet, clean and very convenient for the ferry. Situated in an ideal location.

Friendly and helpful staff. Most comfortable bed. Bar downstairs where coffee could be purchased. Good continental breakfast. Parking on site.

A bit disappointed about restaurant which was not open, as choice was made on a restaurant being on site, and only discovered on booking,com website after purchasing. Was however able to find excellent restaurant nearby, La Boucherie. No tea/coffee making facility in room.

Lift was broken when we arrived, we had a room booked with a balcony but were given a ground floor room in the annexe. I am disabled so was unable to climb four flights of stairs. Room wasn’t very clean and dark

The restaurant was not open on a Saturday night!!! Bar very poorly stocked! Could do with updating the hotel!

the location was great for the early morning trip to catch the ferry home.

we requested an early book in. this was granted on booking. when we arrived. the reception told us that we can not book into the hotel until at least 15.00hrs. the reason she gave me was the rooms would not be ready until then. so we were sent packing until 15.00.when we eventually got our room. the carpet looked liked it needed a good deep clean . stains on the carpet everywhere. don't get me wrong the room itself was clean. sheets where very clean and ironed. when we went to have a shower the shower head kept falling down. the room we stayed in was room 403. overall we had a good night's sleep.
