    Pros +

    • It was a great location and the double room we had with the ocean view was nice. The breakfast was also very good and the staff was very friendly. The rooms are small, but if you don’t travel with large suitcases, then it may be less cramped in the rooms.
    • We enjoyed the view from our room and the lobby downstairs. Being on the water was exactly what we were looking for. It was very easy to walk along the seawall into the walled city. Breakfast in the morning was good, although there was some confusion regarding seating, which eventually sorted itself out. As the tide was low, we enjoyed walking along the water's edge on the beach. We'd made prior arrangements for parking, which was fortunate as it is limited.
    • Direct at the beach. The location is very good.

    Cons -

    • The family room was nice, but the room was located outside of the hotel and the second entrance was right at the terrace where people sit and have drinks. So it did not feel like you could enjoy the ocean view since people were usually sitting there. It was also quite tight in the room, but having smaller luggage may help and make it more comfortable.
    • The room was very small. The size was not mentioned in the website. The shower cubicle was dirty. The glass doors of the cubicle don't even close properly. The room itself is a bit expensive plus you need to pay for parking. It's not worth the money. You are paying for the location, not for the accommodation.
    • The room price was a bit high and our friend paid less and got an upgrade for their stayed :((((((Plus the room was pretty small for two persons and the bed, pillows could be better...

Great location and a comfy bed. Very helpful and friendly staff. Allowed us to safely store our bikes inside the staff areas. No frills but good value

the view was gorgeous, the staff was accommodating, and the location was excellent.

The stairs were steep and tiring for an older person, no elevator.

Location is great and comfortable bed and pillows

Peu de place de parking et pas de sea view

    Room was small

Nice, small and cozy hotel very close to the beach. Breakfast was lovely, with impressive views on the coast and a great assortisement of croissants, pain au chocolat, etc. The staff was helpful and accommodating.

Location was a bit far from the city center, "intramuros", it took around 30 minutes per journey, but it was a nice stroll.

    8IrinaPosted on: 4-20-2025

The hotel is located on the beach line with a super amazing view on it. It's around 25 mins by walking to the city center with all restaurants but it's definitely worth walking there and back as you need to enjoy every minute of this magnificent place. Parking at the hotel's area has only 4-5 spots, so you need to book it in advance. Nearby parking on streets is free anyway, was easy for us to find a place.

The hotel rooms (furniture, bathrooms) are a bit old, but it was okay for us.

Small room and no obvious internet availability

Wonderful bedroom with sea view and balcony. Exceptional Sillon beach environment. Saint-Malo Intramuros at a healthy walking distance.

Besides, it’s magnificent location and unbelievable views from my room. I thought I got a nice room, but I had no idea. I got the nicest room and all of Saint-Malo. The location was amazing. The staff was phenomenal, so kind and really helpful too an old bag, single traveler with an old bag that I’m caring with me.

That I had to leave it. I took their cards with me since I have absolutely no memory and it would be a shame if I couldn’t force everyone. I know if they ever go there to stay there because it’s that kind of a hotel. It’s just beyond. I felt like I was in a different world alone on a beautiful beach in an amazing historical city.

Lovely small BnB right on the beach. Staff is friendly and efficient, breakfasts are served in the cozy waterfront bar and terrace on the ocean front. We had a very large triple room with small balcony right over the water. Very clean, very comfortable bed with great linens. Housekeeping is stellar. Location is perfect, about a 25 minute walk into the old town of St. Malo. Lots of restaurants a block or two away.

Bathroom was modern and clean with storage, with large tub, but showerhead was strange with little pressure, it took a long time to get the conditioner out of my hair. Wish they had toilet paper instead of sheets, but I have noticed this in other BnB's in Brittany, so it may be a regional thing.

    Convenience for Gerry Terminal

Very noisy plumbing and a continuous ‘drip’ we could hear all night

Great location, friendly staff, great view, delicious breakfast.

    10CindyPosted on: 12-16-2024

Staff exceptional friendly and professional, very helpful and concerned as we stayed when the storm hit and it was difficult to stand up in the wind let alone stroll along the seafront.Marvellous hotel.

there wasnt anything apart from the storm and that wssnt in anybodys powers to rectify that. Nice and cosy in the hotel though and great watching through the full plate glass window the sand and storm and the waves.

Location was fantastic, lovely view of the sea and nice walk beside the beach to get to the old town. Parking available if you book ahead so that was really good. Good choice at the breakfast buffet.

Would have liked the option of a twin room. The single bed in the triple room was a bit small for an adult! Would have been nice to be able to get a drink/coffee at the bar in the evening but it doesn't appear to operate except maybe in the high summer?

The location and view - short walk to the old town with a stunning view over the beach
