Rooms are cosy. Extremely clean and quiet. Breakfast was incredible, fresh fruit, variety of cheeses, croissants and beautiful pain au chocolat. Staff were smiling and super attentive.

Excellent location, great breakfast, wonderful room

Very nice hotel in a prime location within the city walls. Very friendly staff. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage while we explored the city. Many restaurants, bakeries, and shops are nearby. We were given a room on a high floor with a city view; it was clean and had very comfortable beds. The shower in the bathroom was fully enclosed and watertight, which was a plus for us. Complimentary water bottle in room.

There was no coffee maker in the room, only an electric kettle with instant coffee powder (yuck!). A 4-star hotel should have a proper coffee maker. The bathroom doesn't have enough hooks to hang the 4 wet towels that 2 people use, we had to improvise and hang some over the shower door and from the window handle.Breakfast was a bit limited in options; for a 4-star hotel, it should be better. Awful coffee from automatic machines whose milk tastes like powdered milk. Nothing beats a good coffee made by a barista on a professional machine.

The staff were so welcoming and willing to assist. Breakfast very good and till 11am. Location fabulous. Our king bed was perfect.

Great location inside the walls of the old city. Met or exceeded expectations, to include parking on the premises... which is a big deal. We highly recommend La Maison des Armateur!!!

Location is fantastic - all amenities for a quaint, beautiful boutique hotel. Staff was welcoming, main areas were beautiful. Bed was very comfortable.

No sink in the toilet room. Had to leave to go to the shower room. A lot in the room and not really enough space to easily get between the dresser and the bed. The "child" size seat didn't add any value tbh ? too low for us to use

The room was in a great condition, the bed was extremely comfortable, the AC was working perfectly, the blinds blocked out the light very well, and despite the hotel being in the city centre the room was very quiet (we didn't hear a single sound). We also appreciated that the shower had excellent water pressure, and they offer nice toiletries (including conditioner (not just shampoo) and a lotion). Breakfast was very good, great choices. Staff were very nice and accomodating.

Since it's in the centre of Saint-Malo, accessing the hotel by car was tricky with a larger vehicle. If you do have a bigger car, would suggest parking in the nearby public parking lots, rather than trying to use their private parking (which is cheaper anyway).

Perfect location for sightseeing! Staff is so helpful. Checked me out early and ordered a taxi for my early morning ferry ride. Highly recommend for weary travelers.

Great staff - super helpful and knowledgable - they even helped us get a reservation for the restaurant in advance of our stay.

I wish there was a suite available, for our son to have his own room. For one night the room we had was adequate.

Apparently built rooms next to dining area. Good luck sleeping in the a.m. WiFi did not work in our room (which should not be a guest room) next to the breakfast facility.

Room wasn't ready when we checked in 1.5 hours after check in time.Room keys didn't work. We had to return to reception to change them.Private parking was a bit tight and I felt it was expensive.
