Hotel Le Nouveau Monde

This review is of booking.com, not the hotel. I’m not doing anything positive for booking.com and won’t be using booking.com ever again. I’m also warning everyone on social media and making it my life’s mission to spread the word about all of the lawsuits against you and all of the consumer complaints as well.

I don’t like that I got it through booking.scam

everything, we didn't know what to expect and were delighted with the friendliness of the staff and accommodation.we will return again next time we visit France. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so cxomfortable.

My wife and I don't speak French. The staff were all French but were well conversant in English. They were very helpful. Indeed, the hotel allowed our young granddaughter who was not staying with us to swim in the indoor pool.

Our vacation passed too quickly. The weather was great with mostly clear sky and only a little rain. But I am told it rains more and is often overcast.

The location was perfect, the view from our room was amazing, the room was spacious and beautiful, the parking garage was no problem for our X5, and the staff were all super friendly.

The staff are amazing all round from reception to restaurant to room service they are all so nice and help full.

The hotel is well sited close to the city walls of St Malo, with good parking and a very short drive to the ferry terminal. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. The food in the restaurant was good and the service efficient.

Very little. The room smelt somewhat of new carpet.

The location was great, next to the sea and just a short walk from restaurants. Only a sort 10 min drive from the ferry port.

They advertised a bar but this was closed until 9 am because of a private function. If they advertise a bar it should be available to use. There was a strange unpleasant smell in the room.

Always stay at this hotel the night before sailing perfect location, the restaurant is exceptional and the bar is perfect for a relaxing night cap

In my opinion there is nothing to dislike about the hotel or staff

Very close to the port of St Malo for our ferry to and from Jersey. Safe and convenient underground parking ( even for our car with a roof box). Rooms comfortable and lovely breakfast with views over the beach.

It is an awesome hotel in a great location, 10 minute walk to the Saint-Malo Old city, with beatiful sea views. Highy recommended!

The room was a good size, well appointed and very clean. The TV has English programmes. It also had a balcony with a view toward the harbour. Depending on your request and availability, they have balconies at the front overlooking the beach. Its a 20 minute walk to the restaurants in Intramuros which makes for a pleasant evening stroll. Parking is onsite although is chargeable (usual for most hotels). There is a SPA, but we did not utilise. Breakfast is sufficient and closes at 10:00. When checking in, the guy on the front desk was very helpful and gave suggestions for local attractions and good restaurants. We visited a couple of places suggested and he was right. All in all a very nice few days away hotel experience.

Excellent top floor room with view front/side balcony. Comfy king bed. Good size bathroom. Parking underground with elevator. Front desk was efficient and friendly.

The first 2 nights cleaning was top notch, however on the last night all of our personal items from the bathroom disappeared (we did not find this out until the morning we were leaving). When we arrived in Paris later in the day we were told they located our items and had them shipped to our hotel in Paris. The hotel took care of this efficiently so we were pleased with their follow-up and eventual return of items.

We have stayed at this hotel previously, it was good then and even better now. The room we had was very large, sea view and quiet. We were on the second floor but we still used the lifts which were very prompt. The room was always cleaned when we came back to the hotel.

There was nothing I did not like. The staff were always pleasant and made us feel welcome. We will certainly go back to this hotel again. St. Malo is a beautiful place to visit with an old town and a very long sea front.

Nithing - all god - We did not get opportunity to dine with you as dinber was fully booked - Maybe if you have large groups staying - letting other guests dine in the bar area would be helpful.

Check-in staff were vey welcoming. Our room was excellent. The pool was exactly what I needed after 10 days on the back of a motorcycle. The proximity to the walled town of St. Malo was just right. The view from our room of the beach was perfect. We ate out as the hotel restaurant was fully booked; the check-in Ilysses went out of his way to find us somewhere close by. Breakfast was very good. Overall the hotel exceeded my expectations and I particularly commend all the staff.

It may not be popular in France but a casual eating option in the bar would be a bonus for those who cannot face another big meal in the evening.

The fact that we were unable to get a reservation in the restaurant any of the four nights we stayed at the hotel. We were never told when we arrived at the hotel that the restaurant gets booked up quickly.
