    Pros +

    • It was right on the beach and close to the walled city. It had a great breakfast. The outdoor restaurant was good and we could sit and visit, watch the ocean, and watch all the people taking advantage of the walkway and the beautiful beach.
    • Nice little hotel. We checked in late after hours, but were welcomed and given our room key. The hotel staff members were very nice and helpful, especially Manon. We were on the top floor and many stairs which are difficult for us, since we are in our late 70's. Otherwise, we have no complaints.
    • The hotel is casual, right on the beach but very well curated… everything is so charming but not stuffy. We had tasty meals from breakfast to dinner at their cafe. You can’t beat the location and I found their prices a reasonable value.

    Cons -

    • No, it was great.
    • I’m partial to a pillow top mattress so all the mattresses at hotels feel a bit hard to me. But the linens and pillows were lovely!

Great place with a great location right on the beach. Good food and attentive staff.

The beach location was perfect for walks and sitting outside and enjoying a glass and watching people stroll by. The staff were all welcoming and kind. Breakfast with a sea view was an amazing assortment of boil your own eggs, various breads, croissants, pain au chocolat, and yogurt, fruit and cereals. We really appreciated the clean, tidy, well appropriated rooms with comfy beds. Sea view from our bed was perfect and a little balcony as well. Caroline was exceptionally helpful and kind, assisted us with drink and dining selections and helped us navigate Saint-Malo with our minimal French and her understanding of English. We loved the 25 minute walk to center Saint-Malo and close restaurants. I wish we had booked more days there!

Clean, comfortable, tranquil, well kept building by the sea. Tasteful decoration, tea making facilities, hot showers . Beautiful views. Good quality bedding.

A lot of Stairs difficult if you have a heavy case to take up that could be a problem. Take small overnight bag if staying over for ferry crossing next day. Breakfast cold only and not suitable for anyone with gluten and diary intolerance.

The hotel was walking distance to old town on the beach promenade which was lovely. Restaurant downstairs with a great sea view. Location was perfect. Staff were amazing and accommodating.

The fact I didnt book a sea view room!

The staff were very friendly and approachable. The room was carefully cleaned and tidied each day.The breakfast was outstanding- food of an excellent quality, plentiful and varied.

Our room was dreadful - we had no idea that it would be on the 2nd floor and up 2 flights of very steep spiral staircases (we both have mobility problems) and far too small. The bathroom was accessed down 3 steps (no handrail) and the shows was fitted under a sloping roof, making it too low to be feasible for my husband, who is 6’4” tall. Although I could use it, the sliding shower door was jammed open on the final morning, which made it impossible to take a shower.

Super nice location and clean room. Lovely breakfast with lots of healthy choices. location right on the boardwalk was very nice for an evening stroll

    Nothing!

    Its location, on site parking

Long walk into St Malo. Bike recommended.

Direct access to the beach, amazing restaurant, parking for €9 a day. The staff were superb and so relaxed. The room was clean, cosy and stocked with water, tea and coffee and an extra blanket if you needed. Combination safe in the room too. A supermarket, some restaurants and bakeries within a 2 min walk.

About 20-30 min walk to the town but you don’t even think about it when you’ve got a stunning beach to walk past

An excellent little hotel right on the seafront with fabulous views of Sillon beach from the balcony. There is an excellent restaurant on site as well as an outside bar.

We love this little quirky hotel and have stayed a few times now. It’s close to the walled town (30 mins walking), right on the promenade, has a fantastic outside bar and serves wonderful meals and a great breakfast. The rooms are really comfortable and decorated with lovely details. There’s parking on site too and the staff are always lovely.

Great location. Breakfast was very good. Room was small but had everything we needed.

    9DavidPosted on: 9-24-2024

Great location with direct access to the beach. We had a room in the annex which is a few metres from the main building. Good parking but important to pre-book as limited spaces.

Breakfast doesn't start until 08.00hrs but we had to leave by 08.00hrs to catch a frry.

    Location brilliant

Rooms rather too small but fine for short stay.

    10LauraPosted on: 9-22-2024

A beautiful building with a surprise amazing sea view from the terrace restaurant where we enjoyed a lovely meal and sunset. Right on the main pedestrian coastal path which we loved and weren’t expected.

    Noting everything was great.
