Amazing view, comfortable bed, great shower, great location

Superb position on the promenade with wonderful views from the bedroom and common areas. Free on street parking was available.

Reception and breakfast room/creperie was fairly Spartan and more hostel -like.

Lovely room, cute balcony, excellent facilities, friendly staff and lovely view of the sea.

Room was perfect position, 1st floor and central. Superb view over the beach, lovely little balcony and could hear the sea at night.Hotel location was also perfect, just a short walk to the old town and with restaurants and bars close by.Brilliant roof terrace, although the wrong time of year for us.Loved the decor and the authentic feel.

Only criticism was the size of the room, that said, every space was utilised and everything needed was there.I don't think there would be any way rooms could be bigger without spoiling the authentic feel of the hotel, and although small, the room was delightful and cosy.

The location was terrible, parking not obvious, very unfriendly and scruffy looking. We did not even check in but found another place to stay in St Malo.

The room was exactly as advertised, the sea view was fantastic. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly. We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment of breakfast or evening meal.

Nothing all as advertised, great location, stunning views, clean room. We used the stairs, which was not a problem for us. But the lifts were so small it was permanently occupied.

Good location, lovely view of beach and sea

Very small cramped room, tiny bathroom, tiny lift to get to room on 3rd floor, couldn’t fit 2 people and suitcase in had to make 2 trips. Kept awake all night by arguing guests in another room screaming at each other for hours, hotel staff did nothing to stop it. Carried on until 2.45am! On leaving at 6am in morning lift wouldn’t come to our floor so had to carry luggage down 3 floors so no doubt woke other guests doing that! Lift had been blocked open by hotel reception!!

Great location on Sillon Beach, 10-15 minutes walk from St.Malo city walls. Friendly staff, although quite stretched at the busy breakfast time.

The bedrooms and en-suite bathroom are very small. There wasn’t any space to walk around the bed and showering/going to the loo was very cramped.

Although we were 2 people in the room they kept providing toiletry for one person.

Very nice shower, tasty breakfast, perfect location.

In the room (garden side) was noisy due to the cars. There was no air conditioning and it was stuffy with the window closed.

Sea view is fabulous, good breakast, very calm in the room.

Room was very small, ok for short stay (1 or 2 nights). Hotel takes a bit too much price advantage of sea view, too slow service on rooftop (we even left as it was understaffed and we could not get attention after 15')

Overall, everything was fine, clean, comfortable, the room has everything you need. Nice sea view but not worth the money.

The breakfast is very poor. Unreasonably expensive for such a hotel and such a location. For us, this is a one-time trip. There will hardly be a reason for us to come back again.

Historic hotel, near walled city, the best is that you hear the tide.

Near to St. Malo. Free overnight street parking. Good value. Had an early morning departure and staff who were on duty were very friendly.

The lift wasn't working . Had room on third floor. Would have been helpful to know when l was booking.. Reception area is tiny and there didn't seem to be anyone around after 11pm for information. It might help to put a sign up in different languages to let a guest know where to find staff..

We loved the sea view. You cannot get any closer to the sea.

The room was small, and there was no milk for tea and coffee. Breakfast was limited .
