Excellent value accomodation close to Cherbourg centre. Warm welcome from staff. Secure garage for bicycle. Thoroughly recommend

All good.

The rooms were clean, freshly decorated, and the staff were excellent. Both the team member who checked us in and the one that checked us out were very accomodating of our lack of French, they spoke some English and helped us out including with storing bags while we wandered around town waiting for our ferry check in time.

There are no extras in the room like a kettle or tea and coffee facilities, this would definitely be nice to have. The bathroom was tiny and the toilet seat wasn’t fixed properly - but it was all clean and functional and still good value for money with the price and location considered. Just a PSA (not a negative about the hotel itself at all) that it is further than you think from the ferry - the route Apple Maps says to walk isn’t possible and it took us a good 35 minutes or more to walk.

Great location, perfect cleanliness. Very polite and nice people work here. Yes, you can say that the sound insulation is not ideal. But in fact, it is within the norm. Everything else is great. I recommend.

The bed was extra comfy and overall it was super clean.

The breakfast did not have too many options, but in the end we walked out satisfied.

It's only a small niggle but our room didn't have air conditioning so it was quite warm for sleeping.

Very friendly staff very accommodating. Clean and good value. Idea location for walking, shops and cafés.

Charming little hotel, a walk away from the harbour. Staff were polite and helpful.Quaint little themed rooms.

Conveniently located for the city centre/restaurants etc. and for the ferry. A little old-fashioned, but clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Good continental breakfast. Parking was nearby, and cheap.

Our room had no air-con, and the window opened onto an inner stair-well so little air. Sadly we were there on the hottest night of the year. Not a problem everyone will encounter!

Clean, comfortable, friendly Hotel a short stroll to bars restaurants and public free parking with an adequate selection for breakfast, at a very reasonable rate…on a quiet street.

The owners were incredibly welcoming, the hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance to all local facilities. The property was really clean, well services rooms and a great shower!

The staff changed our room on arrival as we had lots of bags so they gave us a ground floor family room rather than having to carry the bags up the stairs which was very helpful. It was easy to get to the hotel on foot from the ferry (there were renovations going on so we had to walk further than expected but hopefully they are complete now?) This room was also available to go in earlier than the upstairs room so that was also helpful for us. The room was big enough for the family and comfortable. We cant comment on breakfast as we didn't have it as we needed to leave early in the morning.

I cant remember anything specific to improve - just to note there is no lift to upstairs rooms - if we wanted breakfast buffet it would have been extra but it was only available from 8am which was not early enough for us ( but we were ok with this). My daughters loved the friendly owners dogs but just to note in case any one is allergic.

The hotel was very welcoming. The lady at reception was very charming, and helped me carry my suitcase upstairs.

There was no lift, and I was a few floors up. Thankfully, staff helped me carry my suitcase, but it could have been a problem otherwise.
