Hotel Le Valois, Cognac Centre

The hotel is very clean, good size room with a fridge, air-conditioned (it was around 35°C outside), with a bar in the lobby, in a great location close to the center of Cognac. The breakfast was nice with plenty of different options. The hotel staff were very polite and helpful.I would definitely stay here again!

Location and staff

We have a service dog and subsequently, we believe, that is the reason the put us in a separate disconnected building on the other side of the parking garage which had three rooms, nothing else. Disappointing. In addition it was grungy and tired. The staff was very sweet!

The beds were super comfortable, the place was very clean and the breakfast was fantastic.

They can’t do anything about it but the size of the bathroom was very small and cumbersome te get around, but it was very clean and the water pressure was excellent

The hotel is situated in the city centre of Cognac near the main square and restaurants and bars. It has a nice lobby with a bar. Private parking was an advantage too.

It's quite a vintage hotel and it could be renovated a bit. The rooms are clean though.

Probably just the location

Room wasn’t clean. Bathroom was dirty and the floor not cleaned at all. The bed was just terrible. A last minute stay so we were longer with availability but needless to say would never stay here again.

This is our second stay and it was just as good as the first time. Good size room and bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Great location and on site parking at a very reasonable rate. An improvement in that the WiFi is now allowing 2 devices per room. The reception staff let us leave the car in the car park until after lunch again, much appreciated!

Good location in centre of Cognac. Secure parking. Receptionist gave good recommendation for restaurant nearby.

Very convenient to the center of town and shops and restaurants and near the Hennessey House. Room vas very spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The water gets extremely hot. The staff was professional and very helpful

Great hotel the staff are fabulous ?the breakfast was a lovely selection of french food. This was the best nights sleep I had all of the trip our bed was so comfy
