Hôtel Ibis Cognac Centre

Centralized and close to a lot of things

Room was cold even with heater on but that’s from the non-carpeted floors radiating the cold

Big parking just outside. Nice bathroom and the room. Good location.

As a very reasonably priced, centrally located three star Accor hotel, the Ibis met all our needs. The dog was welcome, there was an elevator and air conditioning, and restaurants and pastry shops were convenient. Plus Nespresso machines in the rooms. Parking was easy.

We liked everything.

I stay in Cognac for work a lot-this is the first time I stayed here-really excellent hotel-comfortable beds, AC/heating for comfort-needed in summer-great staff, parking over the street, central, great shower-super clean-top

Absolutely nothing

Good sized room but quite tired in terms of deco.

The carpark was public and not secured. It was quite badly lit so worried me when I got back in the early hours of the morning returning from work.

Breakfast was ok as expected , location you couldn’t improve , right in the heart of the town surrounded by cognac houses and great restaurants .

The weather , it rained A LOT but that’s not the hotels or cognacs fault , would still recommend.

Very comfortable bedParking right outside on street, free

No evening restaurant

Both the receptionist ladies were lovely. They helped us with restaurant recommendations and something about the history of the town! We got a heads up before we arrived about a farmers demonstration, which was helpful to us to plan our arrival time. Parking was right outside, too!

Nothing. It was all good!

Staff were excellent, room was very clean and tidy with easy access to town centre.

Air-Conditioning was poor, the room was very warm.

Staff were charming and helpful

Lift not working, room a little small. With dull decor

Close to town. Air conditioning. Big corridors

Air conditioning in our room (214) did not work and room was over 26 degrees.

Location

Small rooms and the AC doesn’t work properly, room never cooled down and the AC seems to turn off in the middle of the night only blowing air

The hotel location was excellent for us. The free parking available around the hotel was ideal for our visit to Cognac. The Reception staff were welcoming on arrival.

Good locationFriendly helpful staffClean room and comfortable bed

A/C didn’t work

Clean quiet, very convenient for centre. Pleasant helpful staff. Good location

Aircon, couldn’t get temp right, bit warm in the room, but we didn’t ask the staff for help.

Location and cleanliness

Too hot no AC

The central location and breakfast.

No private car park.

Good location close to town - public car park directly opposite the hotel was good

Typical Ibis hotel so very 90s in decor - could do with a refresh especially around the windows (mould). Reception had mislaid my reservation when I arrived in spite of sending countless email reminders before arrival - we dumped our bags and all was sorted out when we returned a few hours later.

How central it is to the town. Breakfast was good , staff are very nice

Quite hot in the room although there was aircon didn't seem to work properly, toilet was low and in quite a confined space

Excellent welcome, facilities to make tea, coffee and relax, and very kind staff who even washed my cycling clothes for me! Superb
